Powerful, right size... and uses your 18V batteries
Sorry, as a user of dust-busters since the late 80s, I've seen all sizes of devices. I just tossed a failing dyson animal because I was tired of the dwindling battery life, the hassle of all the connections. I tossed my dewalt wet/dry vac because it only works with older batteries and not newer 18v lithium and I hate plugging it in. Hell, even my RC car collection with its myriad of connections and different battery types made me rethink things. What I have learned over 20 years: Having a single battery platform trumps most features between brands. So, its a great little vacuum. But more importantly, it uses my big ass (or small) Bosch 18v batteries. I have now ditched all my dewalt 18v tools (and lame LION batteries which last half a year). Since adopting the micro 12v Bosch tools, I have expanded my18v collection for larger types, and to have this little vac use my monster 8ah Bosch battery is literally funny. And the same battery, also available in small 2 and 4ah lighter versions, works on my recip saw, cir saw, flood light, wet / dry vac, "freak" tool I love, and just about everything else. I like that 4 year old Bosch 18v tools work with the latest batteries, unlike some dewalt items. I just got the tiny blower and its so cool for its size. I have never had a single Bosch tool die. I have had a dozen dewalt items die after just a few years of use. We don't want to replace tools with new generation units all the time. And we definitely don't want to constantly replace dying and expensive batteries or deal with compatibility between generations. Hands down the 18v and 12v batteries from Bosch have outlasted everything else I've tried (bye Ryobi). I have 12v batteries from half a decade ago which last just as long as the new ones. Same with 18v. So, yep, good little vac... but more importantly, low cost when used with existing batteries in your collection. This little vacuum is just a vacuum. But it performs well and it use batteries I know I'll have around forever. Bare tool bosch purchases are not expensive. Invest in a 2, 4 and 8ah 18v battery set and you'll have options across the board without the pain and hassle of dying tools and batteries.

Works well when kept clean
This vacuum is great for what it is intended to do - clean up small messes and be very portable. The battery life is very good, and all the included accessories are very useful. It does lose suction very quickly when vaccuuming up trash such as dust or bird feathers, but this is only because the two-stage filtration is working as it is designed to do. The top filter can be removed, cleaned and replaced in 10 seconds. The finer filter takes a bit longer to remove and clean out, but it definitely keeps drywall dust and fine particles from blowing back out into the air as you clean. I have been very happy with this purchase so far!

Still figuring Out The quality
Received The package A Couple Days ago. Just opened It Up today, package came seemingly In Good Shape, Shipped In The items Original box. A Piece of tape On The bottom of The box Kept The contents Inside. This made me A Little weary In Case It was Second Hand / Used And Then manually taped Back. After inspecting The items They all seemed New And Fine. I have The Bosch 18v 2.6 gallons Wet/Dry As Well with hoses And adapted ETC. So Far relative To This, I dont Know if The hoses / Flexible Tube As Well As The Solid Pole extenders or even The Angled hose Are Cross compatible. I think The accessories for This Vacuum Might Be A tad Too Small In Diameter And won’t Fit. Confusingly The accessories came with A Little accessory holder, but UnLike The 18V 2.6 gallon Wet/Dry, I dont think There Is AnyThing To Mount It To On The Device. Putting A 4ah battery In The Back makes This thing balance Perfectly. The Weight Distribution Is Actually Very Good And You can have It leaning Off The edge And Not Worry It Might topple Over (w battery ]. I’ve Noticed A Lot of Other reviews Saying The suction isn’t that Good. The suction w A 4ah Bosch battery Is modest. It Is What I Expected from A Hand held Vacuum. It won’t compete against A corded Vacuum or even A Higher amperage portable High vac, but It Will Most likely beat any Other handheld Vacuum Thats Competing. I’ve Not Seen AnyThing from dewalt, Milwaukee, ryobi, Dyson, miele, that Is Within This price Range, has This Functionality And durability with Cross compatibility w batteries, And Is reliable. There Are A Couple things I am still reviewing And Will update my Review As I Figure It Out. In Terms of how Sterile This Vacuum Is (how Good It Is at keeping The trash / Dust It sucks Up And Not Just releasing It Into The air for You To breathe Straight in], It Is hard To Tell. The Interior Chamber gets Extremely dirty And Is angled making It hard To empty Out by Just Shaking And tapping. However Just from A Couple Uses So much Extra Dust And dirt And grim Gets trapped In The nooks (The thing Is See through) rhat you wonder how insulated that chamber is. You migjt not wajt to put this next to your bed, or kitchen, or batheroom. anywhere youd expect vacuumed trash contents to not appear. A sinfle filter blocks the air intake vacuum feom the trash it sucks in, but i dont know what is the barrier between the particulate intake hole where trash is sucked in and the vacuum chamber. Does trash in the vacuum chamber just move out freely through the hole it came in if the device isn't actively running? This is by no means a hepa filter, but i am thinking to keep it outside the bedroom closest / in a work bench.

Although II am an avid Bosch fan, this little vacuum cleaner lets the side down in that it is really underpowered and the suck is a bit pathetic if you are cleaning up professional or even DIY mess. If necessary, Bosch, go for a 36v battery one - at least it will do the job.

I just waste time and feel very much cheated looking for the rechargeable battery which is SHOWN in the manual book's first page but NOT INCLUDED in the box. What kind of misselling is this? I highly encourage anyone reading this to buy something else. The product finishing also looks like cheap plastics.
