Great Value 4K TV with Solid Everyday Performance
Great TV for the price. Picture is clear, colours look nice, and Dolby Vision makes films look better (looks great with LED backlights). Fire TV is smooth and easy to use with Alexa, although I prefer Google TV. It also handles bright rooms well and reflections aren’t too bad, so it’s easy to watch during the day. There’s not a huge difference between QLED and normal LED in everyday use and QLED just boosts colours and brightness a bit, but both are still LED TVs, so they look quite similar unless side by side. TV quality overall is decent. Reliability I’m not too sure about yet as I’ve only had it for a month, and from what I’ve heard it may not be as long-lasting as some TVs like Samsung ones I’ve had before that lasted 10+ years, still have till today in perfect condition.

Everything you need to know before you Buy!
I bought this 55’ TCL QLED TV for £289 after my old TV broke after 10 years of service. This tv was supposed to be in my bedroom so I bought a wall bracket to put it on the wall. They do offer services to have it fitted and I’ll recommend it. It came free for the service but you will have to buy the wall bracket beforehand. The TV value was great for the price with over TV’s of the same size and quality (QLED) being £50-100 more at the time. The picture quality was better than my previous TV which was just a simple LED TV, and it’s great for video gaming and the binge watching experience. This tv comes integrated with Fire TV which allowed me to connect it to my Amazon account and as I had a firestick before, it copied my data onto the Fire TV so everything was easily accessible. This TV comes with 3 HDMI ports and has Airplay capabilities which allows you to stream things from your IPhone (which I use). Using the Fire TV app, it allows you to use your phone as a remote which works incredibly and was a major advantage for me. Another great feature is that if you are a gamer and you have a console and set the input to that device, changing the input while turn on that device which I use for my PlayStation 5 and the TV remote actually works as a remote for whatever device you connect to which i believe is a secret feature I found. A couple of things to note is that this TV does not have an Auxiliary cable slot so to use any sound bar or external audio device, you would have to connect it Via Bluetooth which works. Another thing to take note of is that the TV although can connect to the Alexa dot, cannot be turned on or off via that device using voice commands such as “Alexa turn on TV” as this model does not have that capability. Another thing I have noticed is the Airplay can be temperamental and sometimes will require multiple tries before you can connect but once it connects, it works fine. In terms of system reliability and performance, many other did report lagging or slow action when using the TV and I can confirm that this will happen at times but it is not too bad so don’t let it detour you from purchasing it especially for the value of the product. All In all, I’ll rate it 5* because for the price and all it comes with, it’s a cheaper reliable product and brand compared to others.

Fabulous
The TCL 65T6C-UK is an excellent choice if you want premium picture quality without paying premium-brand prices. The QLED panel delivers vibrant, punchy colours with great contrast, and HDR performance is impressive for films, sports, and gaming. The 4K clarity is sharp and detailed, especially with native 4K content. Motion handling is smooth, making fast-moving scenes look cleaner and more natural. The TV also performs well in bright rooms thanks to its strong peak brightness and anti-glare panel. The Google TV interface is quick, intuitive, and packed with apps. Voice control works seamlessly, and setup is simple straight out of the box. Sound quality is surprisingly decent for built-in speakers, although pairing it with a soundbar elevates the experience even further. For the price point, the TCL 65T6C-UK is a genuine standout – stylish, responsive, and packed with modern features. It offers exceptional value for money and easily competes with more expensive alternatives. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a large-screen QLED with brilliant performance and smart features at an affordable price.

Great tv..... But....
Great Tv I bought two for a good price... Picture excellent interface a little slow,... Now for the bad part. 2 identical TVs but one behaves totally different.. One tv will let me download from appstore etc the other will only allow certain things to download after some research I found the problem seems to be one TV is brand new and the other has been used by a software developer for Amazon to tests apps, but unfortunately they did not reset what they had been working on! Hence I can't download what I want in this TV. And trying to get support for this problem to be fixed is impossible.. So my experience is a mix of disappointment and annoying that they have sent me a second hand tv... So I won't be buying anything from TCL.. Even though the picture and build are good for the price, but when you lose trust in a manufacturer. And they provide no solutions then more fool me if I buy anything more from them.

Great TV. Check connectivity requirements
This TV (the 75inch Fire TV) was easy to set up, picture quality was good, sound decent enough, I have a soundbar anyway so that's not too important to me. It is very light, so easy to put on a wall bracket. Seemed to have a couple of glitches with the remote where it was jumping the volume up a touch but that seems to have settled down now. However, I bought this TV to add it to my Google Home set up and it won't do that and so I am sending it back. Searched on Google for all the reasons why I couldn't connect to the TCL Home connect app and subsequently the Google Home app and wasn't able to find any real answers other than make sure they were both on the same WiFi network until I messaged TCL Customer support. They called within an hour and gave me the info that it was incimpatible so I was very impressed with their support on that front. Wouldn't fail to recommend this TV if you don't need it to incorporate Google. I have returned it and ordered the Google based software to ensure I am covered.

Good TV
Seems like a decent and well priced Smart TV so far. Only time will tell though. Never bought this brand before but it gets good reviews so I thought I would take a chance on it. This QLED model has a very good picture, very crisp and vibrant. A few years ago this level of picture quality would have cost a fortune. it's easy enough to set up and has pleny of features and It integrates well with my other Fire devices. It's a great screen for my games consoles and I can now play my Series X games at 120hz. The operating system can be slightly laggy at times but it's tolerable and you get used to it. Not really an issue for me. Sound quality is OK but I would recommend a sound bar. Build quality is respectable and the stands are sturdy enough. The remote is good and functions perfectly. At 300 quid I'm not expecting many years of use, I think folks are realising these days that TV's just don't last as long as they used to,. if I get three years out of it i'll be happy. It's a bargain just for the picture quality alone.

Excellent sound excellent picture would buy again
I love it the only thing I find is it’s smaller than my other 50” which is weird, but the sound quality picture and setting up was a doddle. I already have an Amazon account (tv) so I just signed in then waited for apps to load and signed in done the same with freely and plugged in my virgin box but seriously for the amount of tv I actually watch I don’t need virgin at all. I hung it on the wall with help and it is great I’m thinking of giving it to my mum and going for the 65” because of the size unless my old tv was bigger and I’d forgotten 🤦♀️ connection to WiFi was quick I did that first before anything else and the screen is perfect woohoo

A budget TV Superstar!
After my old TCL TV (a TCL 43T6C-UK) started glitching and crashing after 5-6 years of use, I decided to go for a new one, as I was impressed with the performance of the old one for the price, and decided on this model for its good reviews and features. >>> WHAT’S IN THE BOX? In the box, you’ll get the TV itself (obviously), its feet, a remote control with included batteries, a power cable and a basic instruction sheet. There are two big lumps of polystyrene for packaging, which could easily have been recyclable cardboard rather than environmentally unfriendly stuff. Once I’d peeled all of the plastic off the screen and bezels off the new one, off my TV bench went the old one and on went the new, and I was quite surprised to see how little TCL’s design language had changed in six years, as the new TV is practically identical to the old one, with only minor differences. >>> WHAT’S ITS CONNECTIVITY LIKE? Quite decent for the price - you get three HDMI 2.1 sockets, a single USB-A socket, and cable and satellite sockets. There’s no ethernet for network connectivity, so if you intend on using this as a Smart TV, your only option is for it to connect via WiFi only. Saying that, it may work with an RJ-45 ethernet to USB-A adapter, but I’ve not tested if that works or not… I suspect not! >>> IS IT EASY TO SET UP AND USE? This TV runs on Amazon’s ‘Fire TV’ platform, unlike my old one which ran on AndroidTV, and I could tell right away that the new one is substantially quicker than the old one was. When you first turn it on, it will run you through the usual expected set-up process where you’ll need to connect it to your WiFi, log into your Amazon account, and then go into the app store to download things like Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, etc. It’s all very straightforward. This TV also comes with voice-control, Alexa integration and there are lots of apps to install onto it, so it will readily work as the hub of your living room’s entertainment. >>> WHAT’S THE SCREEN LIKE? Now that I’ve had the time to test this on various different movies, TV shows and games, I have to admit that I don’t think the screen on this one is as good as the old one was. While it’s showing bright scenes it looks pretty nice; the colours are vibrant and bright, contrast is well controlled, and there’s evidence of a little light-bleed on the edges of the screen, but nothing so bad that I find it annoying. It’s a different story on darker scenes, sadly; some dark scenes can be a bit blurry, and I’ve not found a way of improving this through changing settings. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible, but it’s definitely noticeable. Another thing to mention is that, like a lot of modern TVs, this TV comes with its motion-smoothing set to maximum by default. If you really don’t like this (I absolutely hate how unnaturally smooth it makes things look), it can easily be turned down or switched off completely. >>> WHAT’S THE SOUND LIKE? It’s not often I get to say this about a TV’s built-in speakers but the sound from this TV is… Phenomenal! The old one had decent sound too, but this one is on a whole different level. There’s heaps of bass, good separation and clarity. In fact, the bass is so strong that I had to turn it down, which is very impressive indeed. In fact, I would go as far as saying that you probably don’t need a soundbar with this TV. Yup - it’s that good. >>> IS THIS TV GOOD FOR GAMING? Believe it or not, but other than watching Netflix and other streaming services, I have my gaming laptop hooked up to my TV most of the time and use it to game on, and since this TV has a dedicated GAMES MASTER mode (no, there’s no Patrick Moore mode - if you’re old enough to remember the TV show of the same name) and ALLM, it allows you to game without lag, and this works really well. >>> SUMMING UP This is a very accomplished TV with only a couple of minor negative points, but at this price point there’s very little to complain about. All in all, with great picture and sound quality, a useful and relatively quick UI and heaps of features, I would absolutely recommend it.
