I’ve been using this Venture Pal Electrolyte Drink Mix for a while now, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I like it because it’s very easy to carry and prepare, so I can use it at home, at work, or after exercising. The flavors are pleasant and not overly intense. Plus, it helps me stay hydrated, especially on very hot days or when I need to replenish electrolytes. I also like that it contains sodium, potassium, and magnesium, making it an excellent option to complement my daily hydration. The individual packets are very convenient and mix quickly with water without clumping. In my experience, it is a high-quality product that has met my expectations. I was looking for a more affordable alternative to LMNT Chocolate Salt, and this did not disappoint! The electrolyte profile is almost identical, but the taste is different. This one is definitely sweeter and tastes more like a cup of hot cocoa. Unlike LMNT, which has a bold salty kick right away, the salt is much more subtle in this drink. I personally enjoy the salty flavor of LMNT, but I can see this being a huge plus for people who don't like the salty kick. It mixed well, especially with hot water, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. I honestly think I'll keep both on hand. LMNT for when I'm craving that signature salty electrolyte flavor, and Venture Pal for when I want something that feels more like a comforting cup of hot cocoa. If you're looking for a chocolate electrolyte drink that's easier to sip without sacrificing the electrolyte content, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I had to revisit Amazon and submit my thoughts on this product. I've recently begun to take my daily hydration more seriously, and was looking for an electrolyte additive. As I shopped, I saw countless reviews that said this product is too salty. After trying it, I'd say it's not too salty and tastes EXACTLY the same as LMNT. Venture Pal does what it says and it tastes as good as these drinks can taste. Ultimately, it's not bad, and for the value, it's really great.

After only a week I do feel a difference, more energy, no afternoon crash just a general overall good feel. I'm hopeful I'll maybe see some effect on my blood pressure. My only complaint and the reason for only 4 stars is that it's crazy sweet. I get it, there needs to be some sweet flavor but this is waaaay more than necessary. Still it's far cheaper than Element and basically the same numbers

I was expecting to get slapped in the face with salt but to me it’s pretty sweet, the salt doesn’t come through so much, but I pound salt and soy sauce so it’s probably just me. Got the lemon one, tastes really good, no funky aftertaste! Started having a flare of my pots felt like trash and this def helped me perk up a little bit. Will buy again. It’s so cheap too!

On paper, these seem like a good value replacement for LMNT. To be clear, I was not using LMNT before due to both cost and trying to avoid artificial sweeteners, so I can’t provide a taste or effects comparison. I had been buying liquid IV for years, the one with actual sugar, but was always curious about the very different electrolyte profile in LMNT, so figured this was a cheap way to try it out. These packets dissolve easily and do not taste salty to me as others have complained about. It’s mostly just the artificial sweetener and flavors I taste. I’ve gone through about half the box now, so have consumed enough to notice a pattern in how my body responds. Unfortunately, I think the stevia in these disagrees with me. I find myself crashing hard energy-wise after drinking these, even only half a packet. It may be that I actually have to have a high carb food with one of these to counteract that effect - apparently stevia can cause an insulin response in some people and these do taste much sweeter than anything I eat regularly. I am going to give that a whirl, but won’t be buying these again as I often am not looking to eat a meal or snack when just needing an electrolyte boost. Back to liquid IV for me.

I found this to be comparable to LMNT, which is what doctors have recommended for many people that I know, and specifically people with POTS/EDS, Dysautonomia. I find that it really que chez thirst and energized me in a way I have never noticed before. The taste is sincere… delicious and not too salty or too sweet. We have been using both Mixed Berry and Peach flavors, both delicious. And at a fraction of the price, this packet is a real winner!

I usually drink the LMNT watermelon but thought I'd try and find something not as expensive. This is a good value for 16 packs for $10 but not quite the taste of the LMNT. Salt is there at 1000mg and the watermelon is "close" and for the value I may keep a box around. The berry and lemon / lime are so-so with the lime being a little overwhelming. Not a big peach fan but did like it as a change of pace but wouldn't drink it during a work out. All in all, it's a good value and the taste is ok and you may find it suits your taste buds better than mine.
