Kinda viable for this price but I suggest getting aavante 590 . Sound quality is good under 60-70% volume but playing on more than that adds distortion (just a little bit , not much). Sometimes it gets connectivity issues but most of the time , it's fine . Overall a good product

This is my second purchase from boat. Wanted a small power house speaker. It's a 16w speaker that is pretty loud and got it under 1500. Comes with type c and gives a decent battery life. Built quality is sturdy. It's loud but misses that deep base . If you're ok with something that you carry for trips and gives a good punch then it's for you . I would highly recommend.

They sell this one with bass as a USP, whereas bass is exactly what this piece lacks. I compared this with few other speakers, and it just sounds really bad. Considering I paid 1699 for it, it's really not worth the price. And guess what? Amazon has a No return policy on this, so u can NOT have it replaced with another product or return it to get a refund. So now I'm stuck with a product that I hate. I can only get it replaced with the same product (lol) in case it's defective. I think Amazon is doing this for a lot of electronic items off late, which I honestly feel will discourage people from buying electronic items from Amazon, and instead compel them to go to their nearby electronic shops that offer more flexibility and option to test these items before buying. I'd rather go for slightly more expensive but more reliable brands, that offer more flexibility in terms of exchange, return or refund. Boat speakers are usually cheaper compared to other brands, but know this that the lower price comes with its own drawbacks. I strongly feel their parts are of inferior quality, because twice it has happened with my older Boat speakers that they stopped working one fine day, no mishandling, no falling, no liquid spills, just stopped working standing at its place. That too just a year after purchase when warranty was over. Their service centers are very few even in big cities, so it's usually not worth travelling distances to get these repaired since you bought it cheap in the first place. I don't know what made me buy this piece of junk. Anyway, would suggest people to be aware of this. Personally , I would be staying as far away from Boat as a brand as possible.
