DZ Bogeyman Egg Separator

These things are so gross and so awesome. We got one for each of our sons (22 & 23) for what we thought were going to be belated Christmas presentsThey are both into food so these are functional as well as hilarious. Shipped from Europe so the planned delivery date was nearly 6 weeks but got here nearly a month early, before Christmas.

Service & shipping are excellent. It looks really cool sitting up on the back of the stove but, ah yes, the sacred But, have yet to figure out how to get it right. Yeah, it's supposed to be simple. One must be diligent. The yolk keeps breaking before the white can make it to the pan. All ideas welcomed. Once again, I need backup. We will make it work! In combination with the silicone egg/pancake molds, sure add to meal time fun!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. I had sent her a picture of it and she just had to have one. She received it a few days ago and was very excited to get it. I got it for her as a surprise. She has posted pictures of it on Facebook and has been showing all her friends. She will be using it soon and probably often. She loves it so I have to give it a five star rating. If you have any friends with a great sense of humor, this would make a great gift.

Ok, you've got to have a ... certain type of humor to appreciate this and I think it's hilarious! I mistakenly ordered 2 but because they were coming from the UK, I didn't bother returning one. It gave me an opportunity to compare the quality. There was a subtle difference in the amount of color in the noses and quality of glaze. Specifically, the one separator that had a lighter colored nose also had a few tiny bubbles in the glaze. This is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. With that said, neither issue will affect the functionality of the separator and I still think this is best "Bogeyman" egg separator I've seen by far. Additionally, they arrived much faster than the ETA stated and were well packaged.

I was expecting this to arrive between March 4-17. This was a Christmas gift. It arrived yesterday 12/22. Way earlier than expected. I had to break an egg to try it out. It was a little difficult to get the egg white to completely drop out of that little buggers nose, so I kind of coaxed it with a spoon. Then I tried again with a room temperature egg and it still wasn't as easy as I had hoped. Either way, it is so much fun, I'm buying more as gifts.

It’s a funny idea, but it doesn’t work at all. The holes are too small for the egg whites to flow through, and the nose cavity is just large enough for a yolk to slide in and block off both holes. Complete waste of money.

I fell in love with this egg separator when I first saw it. I added it to my wishlist and waited for it to come back into stock. It took a few weeks, but it finally returned. And it was on sale for a fantastic price, so of course I jumped on it. It took a while to ship to the States, but I didn't care. It was going to change my life... maybe a little? At long last, it arrived! I opened the box and gushed at my new, disgustingly cute snotty buddy. I set it on the microwave and decided that I would simply admire it until I needed some eggs separated. Two weeks later, it's my birthday and I've decided that I'm going to make my own cake. (I'm weird like that.) I break out the eggs along with everything else. The time comes to make my white cake which calls for egg whites. Yes! Snotty buddy is needed! I crack the first of six eggs and drop it in my new little gross friend and get to separating... 3 minutes later, the egg is as separated as I'm going to get it... after THREE minutes! I'm devastated, but determined. Egg number two... another 3 minutes later and I'm only two eggs in... dang it. I gave up Little snotty buddy is now a decoration, and a forever reminder of my egg separating disappointment. Its cute, and its gross, and its ineffective. To the manufacturer: Maybe make the nose holes bigger so it can be more efficient. And maybe figure out a way for all of the whites to pour out without the yolks blocking the holes.

HYSTERICAL‼️‼️‼️ Absuoltely love it. Unforunately, tho, it only holds one egg. But you can only separate one egg at a time and one egg dripping out of the nose is all you need to bring the funny. Hilarious‼️

I love the novelty value of this product, the only issue is that there was a sharp burr that kept splitting the yolks as the egg slide out the nostrils, a quick file down fixed this problem, works well now. Very happy with this item.

Arrived fast. It's a decent size, and doesn't feel cheap. This is the perfect gag gift because after the laughs, it actually functions well as an egg separator. My only complaint is its not as simple to wash as a plain seperator, but its not a big deal and I will be buying more.

Der Eiertrenner ist ein Hingucker und ein gutes Geschenk an Freunde . Er funktioniert gut und ist für einen ein Mann Haushalt gut zu benutzen wenn beim Eiertrennen schwierigkeiten hat , er ist ein hingucker . Frauen schaffen das auch ohne den Bogey Man Eiertrenner . Ein Gaudi , auch empfehlenswert .
