This product is excellent and provides very quick and accurate results. You just need to follow the instructions as per the manual and the test results will come quite accurate. The box includes: 1. Chemical reagents to perform all the tests mentioned - PH, High PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate 2. 4 Test Tubes 3. Manual and Color chart The color chart is very helpful and the manual explains very clearly how to understand the results based on the color. The PH results come immediately. For Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate, you need to wait for 5 minutes. In a well cycled tank - Ammonia and Nitrite must be 0ppm(VERYImportant) and Nitrate also within acceptable limits. This is a must for any aquarium and specially useful for any new tank setups where you need to monitor the water conditions regularly during the cycling process. Based on the results, you can take decision for water changes. Best Master Test Kit available !!!! Go for it.

It's nice but expensive tool to establish your tank parameters. Which is sometimes confusing as decoding is based on visual color matching which turns out to be extremely confusing and tricky when you get different colours which are not in the reference color table...this forces you to do guesswork... So far for me its approximately 65% clear report and 35% guess report...shall use this till we get better kit than this... Note: I mostly use API products for my aquariums. Thanks

Very well packed and company sealed Original product received. It's Made in the USA and not the (API- Aquarium Products India). 4 test tubes with stoppers come along in the kit. You Can Check Ph, High Range Ph(If you have Cichlids that need high Ph), Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. Wish it had Chlorine, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, and Phosphate checking too though they are very cheap chemicals but should have been added. To get the accurate value you have to shake the hell out of the bottles for 30 seconds or you will get the wrong result. The Stick method is easier to use and just takes a minute and with this, you have to make a Chemistry lab on your table. eSHa is one more company that makes awesome test sticks. You just dip it in the aquarium and match the colors and it's 1000 rupees cheaper. It's also available on Amazon. You can choose between the two. Hope the review was helpful. I moved away from test strips and bought the API 800 Test Freshwater Master Kit. One of the best decisions I have made for my aquarium. Test strips may look convenient but once the container is opened and the strips are exposed to air the clock is ticking. Moisture and oxygen start degrading the reagents immediately. After about 30 days the accuracy drops off badly. At that point the readings are questionable and you may as well consider them unreliable. For something as important as water quality, that simply is not good enough. The API Freshwater Master Kit solves that problem completely. The reagents are stored in sealed bottles so they remain stable and accurate for a long time. Using it is straightforward. Fill the test tube with tank water to the line, add the correct number of drops from the bottle, cap the tube and shake. For nitrate there is a second bottle and a longer shake but it is still very simple. Wait the specified time, then compare the colour against the chart. That is it. What you get in return is far more reliable information. The colour changes are clearer and the scale is more precise than strips. You can properly track ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH rather than relying on vague strip colours that can be difficult to read. Each kit also lasts a very long time because you get a large number of tests from the bottles. It ends up being far better value than constantly replacing strips that degrade quickly. If you want accurate, repeatable readings and a clear picture of what is happening in your tank water, this kit is excellent. Simple to use, dependable and well worth the money. Highly recommended for any serious fish keeper. 🐟

This test kit is definitely accurate — I’ve used it side-by-side with other tests and it consistently gives clear, reliable readings. It covers everything I need for my freshwater tanks (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH), and it’s saved me from some serious water parameter issues more than once. That said, the process isn’t exactly quick or convenient. You’ve got to measure out water into test tubes, shake bottles, time everything exactly, and match colors that sometimes look way too similar. It works, but it’s not something I look forward to doing, especially if I’m testing multiple tanks or running through every parameter at once. What I liked: - Very accurate and consistent results - Covers all the main water parameters - Plenty of tests per bottle - More reliable than strips or cheap alternatives What I disliked: - Takes a while to run a full round of tests - Color matching can be hard under certain lighting - Lots of little pieces to keep track of It’s a solid kit and does the job well — just be ready for a bit of a routine every time you use it. I keep using it because I trust the results, but I wouldn’t mind if they made the process a little more user-friendly.

So easy to use , very accurate , the test strips said everything was fine but this master test kit told the truth it wasn’t fine and it helped me fix my water so my fish stopped dying , would definitely recommend for everyone keeping fish !! Definitely worth the money it’s actually not much when you think of it this stuff will last forever , I think it said 800 tests ,you only uses so many drops per test and you only need to test once a week unless you have a problem your trying to fix ..
