RockJam Adjustable Piano Bench & Keyboard Stool

I bought the RockJam Premium Adjustable Padded Keyboard Bench to go with my digital piano, and I’m very pleased with it so far. The build quality feels solid and stable — no wobbling or squeaking even after regular use. The padding is thick and comfortable, which makes longer practice sessions much easier on the back and legs.I really appreciate the adjustable height, which is smooth to change and locks securely into place. It works perfectly for both adults and kids, and it folds away neatly when not in use.It even comes with access to online piano lessons, which is a great extra for beginners. The only thing to note is that it’s slightly heavier than expected — but that’s probably what makes it so sturdy.Overall, this is a well-made, comfortable, and practical bench at a great price. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable piano stool for home or studio use.

Positives:+ Sturdy and comfortable bench and it feels safe when sat on.+ The dimensions of the bench are wide, which definitely helps with the comfort level. The bench is foldable, and it comes folded.+ The lowest height is pretty low - as can be seen compared to a yoga ball. It is therefore a good bench for kids!Neutral / Negative:- Adjusting the height is a bit fiddly. This is not necessarily a bad thing if the bench needs to stay at the same height for months or years. It is also a trade-off for the stability and sturdiness feel of the bench.Assembly:* A minimal "assembly" is required - this involves unscrewing the two large knobs, inserting the second set of legs and screwing the knobs back in.* On the underside, one set of legs are permanently bolted in. The other set of legs are held in place by the two large screws with knobs to adjust.* In between the adjustable legs there is a small washer. We had to be careful upon unboxing not to lose that washer!

I bought this for the extra padding and I’m glad I did. It’s very comfortable and I’m happy to sit on it and play my piano for hours. It came assembled and folds flat for storage. I weigh 75KG and it feels very sturdy. It’s a good quality product and good value for money.Update: Now that I’ve been using it for a while, I have to reduce my rating. I’m a piano beginner and it took a while for me to find my correct seating position. Now that I have, I realise I am in between height settings. So I have to set it on the lower setting and use a cushion. The difference between height settings is several inches. It’s still a good product but a stool with a finer height adjustment would be better (but probably more expensive).

Fabulous. I was using a drum stool and this is such an improvement.Its limited on its height settings but the one im using is just right for me.The foam is firm and comfortable. Only further use and time will tell if its resilient and durable.Its surface area is also better than my previous rounded top stool. It has arrows on the legs to tell you which way around the stool should be ie facing the instrument. Bcz a cantilever design like this is offset in its support line.Its nicely made with no sharp edges, heavy duty steel box section and rubber feet at the floor for grip on carpet and indentation protection for hard floors.It is a quality product imo.esp given the price.Id recommend an adult setting it for height, not for fault but bcz it could close as you set it and trap a finger.There was a little assembly to perform to attach the seat top to the canti legs.Its stable to sit on. No noticeable rocking at all. Superb in fact.All in black it blends in with the furniture particularly my keyboard and can be folded away for easy storage.

I needed a piano stool quickly after one from another company collapsed and broke. After a lot of deliberation and worry I decided this piano stool looked sturdy. I am pleased to say that it has exceeded my expectation and I highly recommend it. The seat is well padded and very comfortable. It has a slightly firm feel which gives good support. The crossed struts are firm and have not moved at all sinced I put it up. The adjustment is fiddly. It is a large screw which can be placed in several positions to raise or lower the seat to a comfortable height. It is not the kind of adjustment you could make often for different people. For me, that was not a problem.

This is not the cheapest option. And when you get it you will see why. Compare the weight of this stool to cheaper options for around £20 and you will see why you should pay and extra £15. It won't suddenly give way. I use it for Guitar playing and medical reasons where I have to sit for hours in end. I can do that on this stool and when I am not using it it packs away. It also has useful bolts that lock the legs in place so no accidental falling apart when you move location. I would recommend this to my friends and family.
