XinSunho 5 Step Ladder, Steel Stool with Foldable Handrail & Tool Tray

I bought this because I wanted to have a lighter weight but stable ladder to use in the house without having to go to the garage and drag a big one in. The first ladder I bought was so flimsy it was terrible I returned it and purchased this one because it looks better made. It is sturdy and well-made but there’s a trade-off it’s also heavy. I don’t think it’s any lighter than my regular ladder out in the garage. So as long as you know what you’re getting this is a great ladder. Folds up very nicely and fits flat against the wall. Doesn’t take up much space at all so it’s handy to have it in the house.

I needed a ladder that was secure as I am a woman of a certain age. I have a craft shed that has a large attic at one end. I needed something that could raise me high enough I could reach into the attic or if I chose, get into the attic. The attic is at 6'. This ladder is perfect. A bit heavy, but that makes it solid. Not too heavy for me but know that it is not lightweight and made of poor materials. I feel very secure and comfortable on it. I couldn't wait to tell my husband I bought it and I used it within 10 minutes of receiving it. I don't recall any assembly, but it folds and tucks away nicely in a corner. Perfect for my purposes. Great buy.

A great ladder. No wobble. The rails and tray give this 90 year old guy exactly what I need to reach into high cupboards.

It's 21lb, a little heavy. But very strong. A little hard to open at first. Easy to store.

This ladder is great! Very well made yet light and easy to move. Very sturdy and secure. Bought it for the shop with a twelve foot ceiling. It’s perfect!!

I like how stable & secure the ladder is even when I'm on the top step. This is the primary reason I order this ladder. The ladder works great & the quality is excellent.

There are two brackets with thumbscrews that attach to the top shelf to support it. These brackets don't appear in the photos or descriptions of the ladder. The shelf swings around and seems to lock in place, but if I ever put anything heavy like paint on that shelf, I'll make sure to screw the brackets in place. The fact that they aren't mentioned anywhere in the details of the ladder is a problem. The ladder requires additional setup before the shelf is stable, and there is additional work involved in loosening the thumbscrews and disconnecting these brackets before the ladder can be folded flat. I was disappointed, since I was looking for an interior ladder that was simple to open and to fold. It works, and I can reach the top of all my cabinets to clean them. It seems to be sturdy, but you have to know that there's additional assembly/ disassembly required whenever you open/close the ladder to be sure the shelf is strong enough to use. (Pain in the butt)
