I haven't been a big fan of Mafex in the past, however this Darth Vader is one of the best 6" versions of him I have in my collection and just about beats the 40th anniversary Black Series Darth Vader to that number 1 spot.The head sculpt/ helmet is the best I have seen on a Vader 6" figure again beating the BS Vader in this category. Also, you're able to take the top of helmet off which is a nice touch. Articulation overall is impressive. Although I don't like the plastic skirt while the cape is fabric (which I'll discuss further below) the plastic skirt doesn't in any way hinder the movement of the figure as far as I have seen.It comes with a decent amount of accessories with the amount of hands included and finally able to do the cross armed look (see one of my pictures above). It also comes with two lightsabers, one with the blade and one without which you can securely attach to his belt. With this figure, it has a hook which makes securing the hilt much easier than the Black Series version.The cape - I was delighted that Mafex elected to go with a fabric cape which is wired. Overall the cape is fine, but occasionally posing the cape has been difficult. But, why not go all fabric with the skirt piece also being fabric I don't know. Someone more brave than me will probably be able to customise this by removing the plastic skirt and putting a fabric version one easily enough. For UK buyers I would recommend Scottacustons who does fabulous fabric customs and his prices are more than reasonable compared to Cjesim in Canada where the shipping is more expensive than the actual item.Overall this figure is nearly the perfect Vader figure. The reason its not 100% perfect for me is the plastic skirt.
