As a vegan who really struggled to find a non-fish omega 3 supplement during pregnancy, this was such a relief to find.I used these daily throughout pregnancy and continue to use them 6 months later while breastfeeding. They are easy to swallow and flavourless which was wonderful when everything made me feel sick.I just hope these will always be available as I swear by them and my vegetarian husband uses them too. There are so few vegan options out there!

It's hard to judge how good a supplement is, because for the large part, you don't feel any immediate benefit -- however, in this case, my friend had a DNA test suggesting an omega 3 deficiency was one of the causes of her acne, and that she should spend some time supplementing a much higher dose than normal.As a vegan she didn't want to take fish oils, and with a limited income, a large dose of omega 3 would work out expensive - especially when bought in physical store.We knew that ordinary flax based oils would be ineffective, and as such Vegan Vitality's Omega 3 seemed the best value of all.Of course, this is still an expensive product, but it is more manageable - plus I have a Prime account so take advantage of the free postage on her behalf.Since starting she has had no new outbreaks of acne and the redness has starting to fade -- and this was within a very short amount of time!Bear in mind that she's taking double the recommended dose for a very specific reason, so I would suggest professional guidance before commencing any supplement regime.It will clearly take a little time to know the overall long term benefits, but her skin is clearing up and she's feeling very grateful for having discovered Vegan Vitality.

Easy to digest vitamin. Hard to tell if it makes a difference but it’s a decent price and delivery on subscription works well.

Straightforward , easy to take Omega 3 for vegans. Difficult to know what I would be like without them - taking mainly for brain function - but feel they help maintain function and I am in my 70s!

Edit from 3* to 5*After leaving my last review (below) the store contacted me to resolve any issues I had. After talking to them they promptly sent a replacement bottle out. This new bottle doesn't have a fishy smell to it. The capsules are still sticky and large however isn't an issue for someone like me. (The multi vits are quite big too)The customer service is definitely 5* thank you so much for reaching out and rectifying the complaint. :)Tastes and smells fishy.The capsule is extremely large and sticky.Looking at the reviews it says that it changed the formula to eliminate soy yet the ingredients still include soy beans.The price is reasonable.. I purchased this as I have the vegan multivitamins which are great.I may have to look at another supplier for omega 3 as the fishy smell is starting to seep through my skin.

Fünf Sterne. Ich bin vom Fischöl auf Algenöl umgestiegen und bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Kapseln lassen sich gut schlucken und vor allem bleibt mir dieses lästige Aufstoßen erspart. Mein Magen hat offenbar ebenfalls beschlossen, den Fisch nicht länger zu vermissen. Ob die Werte beim nächsten Bluttest stimmen, wird sich zeigen. Und wenn ich damit auch noch mögliche Verunreinigungen aus der Nahrungskette umgehe, umso besser. Der Fisch kann sich also wieder wichtigeren Dingen widmen.

Soy vegetariano desde hace 17 años, siempre he sido capaz de tener una dieta equilibrada que evite que tenga que tomar suplementos, pero el DHA es algo que no encontré manera de hacerlo, por lo que lo suplemento desde muchísimos años. He pasado por un montón de marcas, todas ellas bastante caras y con cosas que no siempre me han hecho sentir confortable. Como es sabido por quienes hayan investigado algo sobre el DHA, hay dos fuentes, pescado y una minoritaria que es la de algunas algas. Algo que es indudable en este tipo de productos, es que dependes totalmente de la confianza, yo como usuario no se si realmente en la cápsula que me tomo hay lo que dicen y en las cantidades que dicen. Tras ver durante años como marcas aparecen y desaparecen me ha hecho sentir muchísima desconfianza de este tipo de productos.Hace cosa de medio año una amiga me dijo que ella estaba tomando estas y decidí darles una oportunidad. En estos meses tomándolas lo que puedo decir es que estoy muy contento. En cuanto a la composición no nos queda otra que fiarnos, pero sobre lo que si puedo opinar es sobre mi percepción como usuario.Al abrir el bote, he de reconocer que me parecieron muy grandes las cápsulas, pero son muy fáciles de tragar. Algo que me encantan es que nunca, jamás, me ha venido el sabor de algas después, esto es algo muy recurrente en este tipo de productos y a mi me recuerda tanto al pescado, que me hace sentir muy incómodo. Ni una sola vez me ha venido un atisbo de sabor, no se como lo hacen, pero es lo que más me gusta. En cuanto al precio, la verdad que me parece un precio razonable para 2 meses. No es barato, pero ningún producto que sea de fiar lo es.Por decir algo que no me gusta, las pastillas se "pegan" entre ellas en el bote. Tienes que darle un golpe seco al bote para que se separen, no llegan a juntarse al 100% pero se quedan como apelmazadas, entiendo que es por el tipo de revestimiento. En cualquier caso, tampoco es nada molesto, un simple golpe al bote antes de abrirlas y listo.En resumen, como en cualquier suplemento, nos toca fiarnos de que lo que dicen es lo que hay, personalmente por la historia de la marca, yo me fío y respecto a la experiencia con ellas, es muchísimo mejor que con otros productos similares.Editado:Algo a tener en cuenta si no las vas a usar a diario, es que a veces los envases llegan con poca fecha, por ejemplo, el que me acabo de comprar en marzo del 24, tiene como fecha de caducidad octubre del 24. Personalmente, para mi no es un problema porque cada tarro me dura dos meses, pero en caso de que no vayas a usarlas a diario, podría venir con poca fecha.
