This stuff works great!!! I need to stock up before everybody spills the beans about this little secret! I have oily-leaning combo skin, and needed something that I could use on both makeup and no-makeup days. I like that this mattifies the oil with no residue or build-up. It's very lightweight and I only know it's there because I don't see the oil! It's easy to apply with a dry sponge or a puff and it lasts for hours. It is a great value and works wonders.

I never heard about Patrice until I seen it on a few videos that I’ve watched and this magic shiny eraser gel to powder compact is a game changer. It literally feels like gel in the compact, but then on the skin, it turns into like a translucent powder and it gets rid of the shine. Love this.

I thought I'd try this over my natural skin, mid-day after being outside in 100° heat. I only used it on down the middle of my forehead. The other video review I saw on here (Amazon) had a beauty filter over it. I wanted to illustrate practical, every day use. This WORKS. My pores are big, I am a greasy gal almost every day out of the year. I tried the product over makeup and saw results and was pleased. My only concern (5 star vs 5) is the compact didn't come with a sponge or applicator so I used my fingers. This is ok at home because I can wash my hands before/after. On the go use would be trickier. This is going straight into my makeup bag.

Pretty cool stuff. It’s totally clear and looks like a harder gel. I used a cheap Wet and Wild Brush to apply. But it goes on feeling like a very soft and light powder. Totally clear. Seems to blur my pores a little also. And it works. Shine free!!!! A little seems to go a long way also! It seems to not need a lot to get the effect. I used it golfing. I should have been a shiny mess but nope, my skin stayed and it seemed to help my makeup last too!

i have oily skin and im not a fan of the glow or glass skin look. this helps to keep my skin matte without having to use a color powder. i love this product and use it regularly

Glad I took a chance on this Magic Shine Eraser. It works as advertised and is impressive. I have mature skin (some fine lines, enlarged pores, peach-fuzz), but still get quite oily. Powders do not work for me. It took a drawer full of influencer powders and trying every technique on the 'Tube for me to accept that fact. Powder + Fine Lines/Fuzz + 10X mirror = Whaaaat? Dusty disaster!' I also feel like powder somehow encourages oil to the surface of my skin, making me more oily as the day goes on. The Catrice Magic Shine Eraser is my go-to replacement for powder, with the added bonus of it being affordably priced. Applied very lightly with a small setting brush, it's like you just used blotting paper, with non of that powder dust to deal with. Very happy!

Better results when used with a shine control primer than when used alone. Not sure I'll buy again since I was looking for something with all day control.

I used to use blotting papers which work well but I would have to use more than 1 and tossed the used ones in my purse, so I decide to give this product a try and I love it. It not only takes the shine away, it also blurs. I finish off my makeup with this on my T zone and touch up. It’s so much better than powder bc sometimes the powder looks cakey and ashy, this stuff is like magic. I use a purse size retractable brush to dab and apply.
