I’m obsessed with the BrüMate Müv! I love everything about it — the size, the handle, the color, and especially the fact that it’s truly leak proof. The lid can be a little tricky at first, but it’s totally worth it for the secure seal. It’s also surprisingly lightweight for how durable it is — well-insulated without the heavy bulk that some double-walled mugs have. Like all BrüMate products, the quality is top-notch. I also have their tumbler with the metal straw, and both are easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and the color never fades. This mug keeps my coffee hot, looks beautiful, and feels great in my hand. Everyone should have one — it’s that good.

Great coffee mug. I’m a sipper so keeping my coffee warm is important. This mug keeps it warm for well over an hour. It’s well built and appears spill proof. I’d buy another one.

This wan't easy like I figured it would be. I had purchased a snazzy new Ninja espresso machine to make great cappuccino's at home - that I could also take in the car etc. I bought two different mugs on Amazon and sent both back -- just not right. With some trepidation I bought this BruMate 15 ounce and finally I have the perfect cup for my coffee/cappuccio home or out. 15 ounces turned out to be a perfect size. The color choices are great. The handle is ideal and comfortable. I've found my cup! And I'm going to order a second one. I don't know yet how long it will keep a drink hot -- it claims fewer hours than the ones I sent back -- but I'm good without it staying hot all day. People I read -- some anyway -- think the lid is too hard to get off or even open the spot where you can sip from. But I swear it's EASY if you just don't panic and learn it. Watch a 30 sec. YouTube for instance. This is true. I practiced twice and that's how long it took to perfect it. But I still found the YouTube handy for showing the part of the lid that lifts up for sipping. But don't give up! It all works easily after a couple times learning. My drink tastes perfect from it -- not weird taste or anything. I just love it. And many people said it doesn't fit in their car cup holders. But it fits in mine so that's just not universal. (2023 CRV front seat cup holders are good.) And it's true you can have it full, lock it (see that video again if you have any doubt) and you can toss it in a bag upside down and full and NONE of the liquid falls out. I just love it.

This is a very good cup. Keeps my coffee nice and warm for a long time. Ive had it for 2 1/2 months and its still leakproof. I also dropped it a couple of times and it still works fine. I definitely recommend this.

It's a bit difficult unscrewing the lid, but thats exactly what I need. This cup indeed does NOT leak. I prep my coffee, screw on on the lid, cover the tab, and literally toss it in my work bag.

I would give this mug five stars because it is almost perfect in every way. The insulation is great and the locking lid and mouthpiece are completely leak proof. The design is very convenient and the warranty policy is amazing. The one issue is a design flaw with the locking slider. The lid has a small slider that locks and unlocks the mouthpiece. It works by having two small pegs on the slider that fit under a track. When everything is lined up it locks and unlocks perfectly. The problem is the slider can get slightly out of alignment even when it feels locked or unlocked. You can slide it without looking and it will click like it is in the right position, but the pegs might not be perfectly lined up. If you try to open the mouthpiece while it is misaligned it scrapes and damages the pegs. If you close the lid while it is misaligned it also grinds the pegs. Over time this wears them down and eventually they will break. My first lid was worn down within a week. Customer service replaced it quickly which I appreciate. My second lid has lasted longer because I have been very careful, but even then it sometimes catches and is already starting to wear. This could easily be the best mug I have ever owned. It is just frustrating to have to visually check the alignment of the slider every single time I open or close the lid even when the slider is already in the locked or unlocked position.

This mug or cup depending on what you call it. Is the best mug if you have a dog that likes to be nosy like my chocolate lap. I stand by and confirm that it lives up to the claims. I even bought one for my wife. Liquid stays at hot and cold. The mug is easy to hold like any other mug. Pros The Octa-Lid technology is extremely secure, and I appreciate that the flip-top piece where you drink from has its own locking mechanism to prevent it from opening. You truly don’t need to worry about leaks or spills if the lid is on correctly and locked. I’ve literally tossed this into my purse right after pouring my coffee, and not once have I had an issue. Cons Poor heat retention: It only keeps my coffee hot for about the first hour, even after preheating the mug with boiling water and ensuring the lid is tightly sealed. I don’t open and close the lid often enough for that to explain the heat loss. Even when I heat my creamer beforehand, it doesn’t make much difference—the coffee is only really hot for the first hour, warm-ish by the second, and barely warm by the third. If you want a mug that keeps your coffee piping hot for hours, this isn’t it. It’s better for casual drinkers who finish their coffee fairly quickly or have easy access to a microwave to reheat. Doesn’t fit car cup holders: This isn’t a big deal for me since I carry a purse, but if you rely on your car’s cup holders, this mug likely won’t fit unless you have adjustable ones or an adapter. It’s better suited as a desk mug at work or home. Requires hand strength to open: The lid can be difficult to remove until you get the hang of it. Once you figure it out, it’s manageable—but still requires a decent amount of grip strength to twist off due to the strong vacuum seal. If you have arthritis, carpal tunnel, or limited hand strength, this could be uncomfortable to use. Final Thoughts -If you work outdoors or need your coffee to stay hot for hours, this mug won’t meet your needs. -If you have grip or dexterity issues, it’ll likely be more frustrating than convenient. -If you commute, you’ll probably find the lack of cup-holder compatibility annoying.
