Awesome book, Great for studying for the JLPT. Came in a bag, not bent or anything.

Very helpful indeed. You can use this even if you are self studying. Includes CD. Better to start with N5 so you will be more familiar with your Kanjis.

This is going to be great for learning Japanese. Word of caution....you must know at least hirigana and katakana before trying to use these books properly.

Word to the thrifty, these practice exams are available for free as PDFs on the official JLPT website. As official practice exams, these use the exact format of the test and include a CD for the listening portion. They are pretty great! There is no English in them. There is a foreword that talks about the JLPT and it's history and the appendices in the back provide some opportunity for additional practice at reading authentic Japanese. All Kanji outside the exam portion have furigana, so you won't need to consult your dictionary furiously if you're not already proficient in the Joyo Kanji. Also includes a sample blank answer sheet in the back that you can photocopy to complete the simulation.

I like a lot the book cause I wanted to have a good idea of what was coming in the jlpt.

This was what i wanted to practice my japanese. It is easy to understand if you know a little japanese, and it is really a great study tool.
