I’ve been using Olaplex products for years, so when I saw they released the No. 10 Bond Shaper Curl Defining Gel, I had to try it — and I’m SO glad I did. Texture & Application: This gel has a lightweight, non-sticky consistency that spreads easily through damp hair. A little goes a long way, which is great considering the price point. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and it layers beautifully with my leave-in conditioner. Results: Once my curls dry (air dry or diffused), I get soft, bouncy, well-defined curls with ZERO crunch. No flaking, no weird residue, and most importantly, no stiffness. Just hydrated, healthy-looking curls that actually last more than a day. Plus, it helps with frizz, even on humid days — a miracle! Hair type: Thick 3B curls Simply put, this is the best curly hair gel I’ve used in my adult curl routine. It’s lightweight, smells great, and most importantly - it works. I’ve never been someone who could sleep on my curls (bonnet and/or silk pillowcase) and wake up with hair that only needed a quick refresh… until I started using this product. Now, I can get two full days of good curls before needing to fully wet my hair and reapply product. If you’re hesitant because of the price, I totally get it. But over the past few years, I’ve learned that investing in quality products that actually deliver results is worth it in the long run - and this one does exactly that. How I use it: After wetting and detangling my hair, I apply this gel in sections as a base. You don’t need a ton of product (though that’s personal preference). I brush through each section to ensure even distribution, add a touch of mousse, comb for tension, and then scrunch. I usually let my hair air-dry a bit while getting ready, then diffuse on low to medium heat/speed. Once fully dry, I break the cast with a lightweight oil and boom - soft, defined, moisturized but lightweight curls. One last thing: This product may not work for everyone, and that’s okay. If you’re new to your curly hair journey, don’t get discouraged if this isn’t your holy grail, or if it takes time to find the right method. We may have similar curl patterns, but our hair won’t always respond the same way. Long story short: hang in there, keep experimenting, and don’t settle - because you and your curls deserve products that truly work for you. ✨

My hairdresser used this on me and I ordered a tube the next day. My frizz is gone and my curls last 2+ days with only a little effort. My hair feels softer. Well worth the price for healthy, no frizz curls.

Use for air drying or blow drying hair. Hair is soft not stiff. Would highly recommend.

Really loving this curl gel! I have switched from products like Shea Moisture, Kinky Kurly, As I Am, Ouidad, etc to Olaplex and I have no plans to go back. I still use a few non Olaplex brands mostly for mousse/ foam & curl cream but everything else Olaplex and I could not be happier. My hair is absolutely amazing. It’s only been a few weeks & I already notice such a difference. Been experimenting and perfecting my curly girl routine for so long and I finally feel like my curls are thrivinggggg. While this product definitely revives curls, it also leaves hair very crunchy. I am not sure I will buy again.

Prodotto favoloso! Finalmente ho ritrovato il mio ondulato naturale. Non appiccica, non appesantisce e rende il mosso morbido. Si ravviva inumidendo i capelli. Ne basta pochissimo.

Cheveux bouclés type 3B frisés, je trouve que ce gel est parfait. Bonne tenue, produit léger, ne colle pas, et surtout ne laisse pas de résidus après séchage. Je recommande. Mes boucles tiennent plusieurs jours avec.

Diese Lockenreme ist sehr gut und macht die Haare besonders weich und holt auch die letzten Locken raus. 👍😅 Man darf allerdings nicht zu viel nehmen, sonst fühlen sich die Haare ein wenig speckig an.
