Review: Structured, Easy-to-Follow Social Studies That Works Great for Homeschooling - 180 Days™: Social Studies has been a great addition to our homeschool curriculum. It provides a clear, structured approach to covering social studies topics without feeling overwhelming for students or parents teaching at home. The daily lessons are short and manageable, which makes it easy to stay consistent. Each day builds naturally on previous material, helping reinforce concepts without feeling repetitive. This works especially well in a homeschool environment where you’re balancing multiple subjects and need something predictable and easy to implement. The workbook format is straightforward and easy to follow. Instructions are clear, and most activities don’t require a lot of extra prep, which is a big plus for busy homeschool days. It also gives a nice mix of reading, comprehension, and simple critical thinking exercises rather than just fill-in-the-blank style work. I like that it covers a good range of social studies basics in a way that’s age appropriate and understandable. It works well as a core supplement or as part of a broader curriculum. Pros: Very homeschool friendly and easy to teach from Short, manageable daily lessons Clear instructions and structured layout Good reinforcement of key social studies concepts Minimal prep required for parents/teachers Works well alongside other curriculum materials Cons: Some families may want to add hands-on or project-based supplements Faster learners may move through some sections quickly Overall: If you’re homeschooling or want structured social studies support at home, this is a strong, reliable resource. It’s easy to stay consistent with, easy to teach from, and covers important foundational topics in a student-friendly way. Review: Great Homeschool Tool! - We use this as a guide for our homeschool social studies course. It's not a complete curriculum, so we refer to it for lesson planning. The questions are short and simple enough to keep my child's attention, while still making her recall what we learned.

Excelente libro
Este libro de Social Studies fue de gran ayuda para mi hija. Los temas están explicados de manera clara y organizada, lo que le permitió entender mejor la historia, la geografía y los conceptos cívicos.

Pretty great
Fantastic! I almost think that these might be too easy for my little girl. But I am looking forward to seeing the grade 2 for her by the end of the summer.

Does the trick but not the best
I like how the book is broken up week by week and day by day and overall it works okay for a social studies curriculum but it’s definitely lacking in several aspects. Topics are not well covered and don’t go into much detail, the pictures are also extremely dull and can be hard to make out.

Too easy for first grade
Too easy for first grade this book really doesn’t have a lot to do with history or social studies. We homeschool our kids and bought the entire 180 workbook collection the only ones I personally think are worth buying or the English books, reading, writing, spelling, sight words. All the other books are very repetitive and too easy for our first grader our youngest is in kindergarten and even she says the books are easy
