Another Great product from Kastking. The grip on this knife is amazing. It fits in your hand nicely and is a nice bright orange color. The blade is nice and stiff and sharp. Well made. Not like some other flimsy blades. The plastic sheath is well thought out, nice idea for splitting apart to keep it clean, also keeps the knife securely in place. The knife sharpener is a plus. The suction cup idea is nice but not sure how long it will last on the other hand it has a nice Carabiner clip that is nice to add a lanyard or clip it on your belt loop. All in all one of the best knifes I purchased. Not only is it intended for cutting up bait, I think it will make a great boning knife. Recommended Purchasing.

Knife’s handle and grip feel super beefy, like ai don’t have to worry about the knife blade flexing when I’m cutting fresh bait. Blade is definitely sharp, have only used it for one fishing trip though. As long as the sharpener does its job, should last quite a while!

The KastKing bait knife is going to replace that rusty old filet knife in your tackle box as soon as it comes in. Versatility is the name of the game here. Comes out of the package sharp and ready to go - the blade is stiff enough to work through cutting Spot or other baitfish through, but slick enough for kitchen prep work too. Handle fits your hand well - I know the term ergonomic gets thrown around a lot, but even with slime, you'll have a good handle on things. Couple with a hard sheath, and this is going to keep sharp and stay sharp. But if you need a quick ceramic sharpening, it's built into the sheath.

Great knife. Nice and sharp, can saw through a hardhead catfish real nice for shark bait. Also works good for cutting through scaly fish like redfish. Only thing I noticed thats a little odd, is how big the handle is. I kinda like it though. Looking forward to buying the 7in fillet knife.

Thick blade, good for chopping more than cutting. I prefer a thinner blade that I can fillet with. The handle is very thick and heavy but good grip. Has a neat sheath that comes apart, I assume for cleaning. Made in china: Price is too high imho.

I love KastKing products. Was able to use the knife to filet some striped bass. Easy to clean. As a bonus, I sharpened all my house knives also, there is a knife sharpener. Easy to clean and air dry with suction cup attachment.

Sharp nice case and great price if it last a season then it was worth the purchase 👍
