Can you use this on velvet?

Yes, protectME can be used on velvet surfaces. You will need to use a soft brush to restore the nap of the surface after treatment though.

Is this safe to use on my white 100% wool rug?

Thanks for contacting us. Yes you can use protectME on wool. We do normally get you to spot test first to check for colour fastness but seeing as though the rug is already white, there shouldn't be any issue as long as the care instructions on the rug isn't "dry clean only". ProtectME is water based so not recommend to use of these types of materials. Hope this helps.

Protects your fabric from stains.

Easy to apply, no nasty fumes and does a great job at waterproofing fabrics of all types. Absolutely no change in colour, texture or look of the fabric after application. The trigger pack is a bit noisy when you squeeze the handle but it did the job just fine.

Great Fabric Protection for Busy Homes

I originally bought this to help protect some of the fabric pieces in our home, and I’ve been really happy with it! It was easy to spray on, dried clear, and didn’t leave any weird smell or sticky feeling behind. I love having a little extra peace of mind knowing spills are less likely to soak in, especially with kids and a dog running around. The application was simple, and one bottle covered more than I expected. If you’re wanting to help extend the life of your furniture, rugs, or other fabric items, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try!

Impressive

I just bought a new couch and ottoman and I want to protect it as much as I can. I did the ottoman first just to see how it would work before I did my couch and I was impressed! The water I poured on it to test it beaded right off. I do think I might need two bottles for my couch as one bottle did this 40 inch diameter ottoman only. But still happy with it!
