I’ve used this and also tried similar dryers, including more budget-friendly ones, and this one definitely stands out in a few ways. The quality is really nice. It feels solid, well-made, and not cheap at all. You can tell it’s designed well and built to last. The airflow is strong and consistent, and it dries hair surprisingly fast. I’ve noticed it can get through shoulder-length hair in around 10 minutes, which is impressive. The heat settings are also really well controlled. It doesn’t feel like it’s blasting too much heat, so your hair doesn’t feel fried afterward, and it leaves it looking smooth. In terms of hair smoothness, it does a great job reducing frizz and giving a more polished look. The different attachments are actually useful, not just extras you never touch, and they help depending on how you want to style your hair. It’s also very lightweight, which makes a big difference when you’re holding it for a while. Your arm doesn’t get tired like with heavier dryers. That said, for value for money, I can see why some people are mixed. It works really well and performs great, but it is expensive, and there are other dryers that do a good job too for less. I haven’t had any issues with reliability so far, but I’ve seen some people mention concerns, so that’s something to keep in mind. *UPDATE: MINE STOPPED WORKING ON THE 4TH USE!!* Seriously, Dyson??? They have turned into such trash. My Dyson vacuums never last anymore, neither did my airwrap (why I used a shark instead) and now this POS too. Thank god this died while I was in the return window. I’ve been waiting for this to be released to consumers for a while now! My hairdresser has had it for a long time and I was always so curious about it. After 1 hair dry I’m immediately in love. I have purchased the original Dyson hair dryer, Dyson air wrap, shark flex style, and I feel like this is my favorite one! I always dread having to dry my hair so knowing this works quickly, I’m able to convince myself to actually do it. It’s super light weight, smaller/more compact and way quieter than my shark flex style I’ve been using as a hair dryer. I’m praying to the hair gods that this will last for years because it is so damn expensive!

I love this! When i travel i hate using the blow dryers in the hotel, they fry my hair! This is so light and small i can take it in my carry on with no problem. It is super powerful and dries my hair fast! Its crazy expensive, but my old Dyson lasted over 10 years and still works. It was just too big to travel with.

My daughter has A LOT of super thick hair and it took US as a team 45 minutes to dry before. We'd take turns and both have sore arms before it was dry. With this dryer she can do it in 10 minutes alone and be left with nice shiny smooth hair. Mine is much thinner but the medium setting works great for me. The difference between high and medium is huge. High is too much for thin hair. There should be a setting in between but it is a great dryer for super think hair and fine hair.

I initially decided to return this item due to its high price point and concerns raised in other customer reviews. While I cannot speak to the performance of the product itself, I am writing this to highlight a concerning experience during the return process. The staff member handling my return was extremely careless with the merchandise. After realizing the return bin was full, he tossed the hair dryer into a corner and subsequently kicked it while moving a new box into place. Given that this is a $700 piece of equipment, I was shocked by the lack of care. This raises serious concerns regarding liability—if an item is damaged during the intake process, it becomes difficult for the customer to prove they returned it in working condition. I hope management addresses these handling procedures.
