This is a dedicated sports watch. It's not for beginners at all. It is for serious athletes and fitness pros. You will need to calibrate the watch till a week, it will learn from your vitals and activities. I got this watch for weighted running and jogging practice. (The rucking profile is not available, but can be added through Garmin Icon). Battery life is alien tech, it will stay for 30 days on a full charge while actively scanning your vitals, sleep even without the solar charging. Solar charging is good, 80-90K Lux in an hour, which can yield a day's battery life easily. Running metrics are excellent. It connects to Strava as well. Gps is excellent. Flashlight is good, advanced strobe modes are available, both white and red LEDs, for night trail running.

It’s a nice watch .. I am a sports person and all I need is better tracking of my activities and Garmin just does this .. And charging I almost forgot and it’s been more than a week and still 70 percent left .. I used Apple Watch for 4 years and everyday I used to charge and lot of times I remember I used to wear without the charge .. also Apple Watch was very delicate and you need to be very careful for scratches and software updates etc .. and bad part about Apple is after 3 to 4 years touch won’t be responsive .. Garmin it’s fulfilling my needs so go for it if you are sports person and all you need is a rugged watch with all your activities tracking and no hesitation on charging

The watch is awesome..high price but you get ton of the features, there are lot of features, I will cover only the main points I have used casio, samsung, but it leads in all way interms of battery, approx 40 days with solar unlimited..heart sensor, mip display, compass, rela time gps, self tracking, maps ( not turn by turn, it can only track from the way you started). I am very much satisfied and will update in future..I got for 27k under sale...the latest update is v17, you need claibalte all sensors post update for accurate reading I am testing battery and will update later...go for it With charger, it requires 2 hours but you won't need it ofetenly due to good solar charging Sensors work very well and are precise. Even if you climb stairs it can detect it..got for it

Amazing watch. It's an investment. Very rugged but light weight. It's a childhood dream come true. ABC sensor. With solar. For Chennai climate you can easily get 50k lux hours that is supposed to add 1 more day of battery life. Just go for it.

recently Purchased this watch giving review after 2 weeks of extensive use. Overall its really good watch, accuracy of GPS in super. Battery Life is overall good. Tourch light is also useful feature. Solar charging is not as useful as it sound. i would say 3hr to solar charging might add 2 % of battery. Solar can not be primary source of charging, it will extend the battery life. Overall i love the simplicity and rugged design.

Excellent product. 50 mm might be a bit large for the wrist. Rest all features are easy and useful.
