Accurate. Wider for measuring larger size crappie. Handy to have.
Wider than other crappie checkers on the market for bigger fish. Seems other crappie checkers aren’t wide enough for fish over 12”. Very handy to have when you’re catching lots of fish around the legal size. I highlighted the 10” line on the backside with a marker to make it easier to see, especially at night. I also checked it with a legit tape measure and the measurements on this crappie checker are exact and accurate.

have tired them yet
I haven't had a chance to try out yet will try this coming weekend. I thought it would be more on the soft plastic side but it a hard plastic, hoping it don't break during the fishing season.

Exactly what I needed after I stepped on my old one
This one is molded from ABS, which is more resilient than the popular brand. I like the design which accommodates larger fish and allows quick checks without unhooking fish. Cannot tell you how many fish I have lost over the side of the boat while trying to shove fish into the popular brand. This unit is much higher quality than the popular brand while considerably cheaper than the premium brand. Hint; if you fish with a buddy have one of these in the front and the back of the boat
