I have had QSee products in the past. For my purposes, this system works OK. This replaces an earlier version I had when that DVR failed. This particular DVR has a VERY loud fan(s). I even wrote to Qsee customer service to ask about it has it is noticeably louder than my experience with two other DVR units. For the money, not a bad system. I will tell you however that QSee Customer Service is TERRIBLE! I have had to contact them many times unfortunately. Using the phone you will get a call center located in India. While the customer service reps are very nice and try to be helpful, it is extremely difficult to understand them. I have literally had to just says thanks anyway and abandon phone help as I could not understand them. The on-line chat is slightly better. But if you are looking for any follow-up responses to your issues when you log-in to your QSee account, standby for lots of frustration. While they say they will respond in a day or two, I have never had that happen. Many times I get no response at all and must keep submitting my questions. I have had to contact them multiple times to get any response at all.
