Works Darn Well, for the Price!
I have quite a few pipe lighters. One of them is the expensive name-brand lighter sold on Amazon in this same style. I bought this one first, decided I liked this type of lighter, and took the plunge on the over-$100 one. But here’s the thing: I might be traveling with my pipes and not want to take that expensive one along in case I lose it, or run into a TSA agent who isn’t current on the regulation that says yes, you can take a lighter in your carry-on. On those occasions I use this one, and guess what? I can scarcely tell the difference. It may be that the expensive one is going to prove to be more durable in the long run, I don’t know. (Then again, I could buy five of these for the price of one of those, so…) This lighter is attractive, functional, and works reliably. Putting it side-by-side with the expensive one I can spot some differences in the construction, but so far those differences haven’t affected how this one works. I’m gonna say go for it. If you like the style, go ahead and get yourself the expensive one for Christmas. (Oh, and for Heaven’s sake don’t light your pipe with a torch lighter; save that for your cigars!)

It's Good, But Could Be Better
It's a nice lighter, but it would be great if you could see how much butane is in the lighter. There is no way to see if it's full or not. I also found that the butane does not last long. It must be a small tank. It didn't take more than a couple of months for the flint to start dwindling away. In the first month or so, it only took 1 flick to ignite the lighter. Now, I'm flicking 3, 4 and 5 times to get it to light. I've only had it for a few months. I still like the lighter. I just think there could be a couple of improvements.

Actually a pretty nice lighter.
Super nice over all, good weight, lights nice, came in a nice box, I’m impressed, saw a YouTube video where a guy compared it to a IM Carona and a Kiribi, he had lots of good things to say about it. For the money, you can’t beat it

Good-looking and useful
The texture is superb, and the hand feels steady. It is definitely not the kind of cheap lighter that is light and fluttery. The 45-degree soft fire design makes it very convenient to light the pipe, and the flame is soft and will not burn your fingers. It comes with a tamper and a scraper, and all the pipe tools are available. It is very considerate and convenient to carry when going out.

Good intentions, but wasn’t for me.
I do like the lighter. I like that I can light my pipe without burning my fingers, I like the design, the weight feels good, and the quality, but I’ve decided to return it. The butane valve cannot be pressed to expel any gas or air, and I am concerned if I will run into trouble with lighting down the road, and the flame doesn’t really light the second half of my pipe the way a Bic lighter does. I know I can adjust the flame, but then it uses to much fuel, and it’s just easier using a Bic. Thank you.

Stylish
I really like this lighter, it's stylish and not too big. Fits in the small pocket on my jeans.
