ATV TEK, VFG2, V-Grip Mounting Rack for Gun, Bow, Tools, Utilities - Double Rider

I just realized it's been 2 years since I bought this for a 4-wheeler at deer camp, that's used pretty much all year.I've run hard and rough enough to nearly toss me and never had a rifle come loose. It's used for everything from bolt action, level and M4 (and AR variants) as well as tools, including trimmer with various attachments and misc. "stuff" and in all kinds of weather, including rain.Early on someone took it out in the middle of the night for a little fun and came back without the straps that help hold down whatever is in the racks. They worked great and were easy 1 handed use. However, while I liked having them, nothing has come loose as long as you secure it deep in the "teeth".These are kept on a 4 wheeler that's stored under a shed-like thing so it's never kept inside and protected completly from the weather. The rubber is dirty and kind of funky but still works great.The only thing I'd recommend is to check and retighten each one every now and then. These have been fine since about the 2nd check and slight tightening as it aged.I've actually been considering getting a set of the doubles but I'm not sure it would be necessary. Either way, I keep landing on getting these, vs another brand because of our great experience with this one.

I was recently able to compare this to the Amazon " #1 Best seller in power sports gun racks" or whatever. I needed this mount along with those in order to secure everyone's gear in our Teryx. The ATV tech mount was both larger and more forgiving than the competitors, we used it to secure shovels and other items as well as firearms. The competitors rack was more rigid transferring much more shock into whatever it was securing. Also the competitors rack was loosing "fingers and nubs" after a weeks use. ATV tech suffered none of that and easily everyone first choice for their rifle. Another great feature is the wide base of the ATV tech product, it allows many more potential mounting locations particularly in UTV or SXS with their larger diameter ROPS. It does not allow for a lot of angles but we had one of these also mounted nearly horizontally and due to its superior cushioning we were not concerned about it shaking up rifles and loosing PoA. If I need more or when the "other guys" dual mount I have finally breaks (I'm guessing this fall sometime from the looks of the wear and tear already!) I will replace it with the slightly most costly but vastly superior ATV tech brand.Buy replacement bungees because all the rubber ones fail within 1 year. Bungees are at least inexpensive and multi-functional.

They are all the same but this particular model is great for people who have black extenders that are not exactly straight. They are adjustable so if you have to put them on Rails that are not straight across they will work. I purchased a kolpin set first but could not line up. I have a 2016 Polaris 450.

I have used the ATV Tech gun racks on several of my ATVs and now my UTV. I absolutely love them and won't use anything else. The hold my rifles tight and have built-in shock absorption. Never had a scope knocked out of alignment using these. I've tried other kinds but these are the only ones that are dependable. So I stick with them. I highly recommend them if you want to protect your hunting rifle investments. - JT

Mounted this on my four wheeler to carry my bow to the tree stand. with a little adjustment to the angle it fits perfect. Spin the locknuts and line it up and I can carry everything from a shovel to an AR-15. In fact it worked so well, I bought a second one for my other ATV.

They do the job like they should. They grip nicely and are easy to adjust directionally. However the bungees included are not the best. I lost one the first time out but found it. I've been using it for a week and one broke. Luckily they grip my bow pretty good without them so it's still a good product

I installed on my Yamaha 700 ATV to carry my shovels and brooms. It works good for that but the rubber straps do not last. I found closed loop straps that does work better and last much longer.

Fit my front rack on my 2016 Polaris 570 Sportsman! Used it on my recent deer hunt and held up fine! Would recommend!

I've just received the product. The product is of very high quality and should last for a long time. While I have not yet used this particular unit. I had the same product for over three years now on my other quad. I have used the other units repeatedly for those 3+ years and they have been exposed to all king of weather. The V-grips have not changed a bit since day one. They never changed their elasticity, color, or any other feature. Even the rubber bands that hold the gun/bow is still functioning. Quite honestly, when I first bought the grips, I thought those rubber bands would be the weak link and that they would tear or dry out easily and that I would have to replace them in a short period of time. That never happened. The rubber bands (I don't think that is what they are technically called, but you know what I mean) are still perfectly intact and functioning even 3+ years later. When it was time to buy another set of v-grips for my other quad, it was very natural to me to order the same set /kind since quality was (to me) guaranteed.

Good product, holds the rifle as advertised, would be nice if it came with two different bolt lengths instead of just the one set, had to sheer A couple of bolts done a bit to get the right fit on the rack of my Yamaha as I didn't want it digging into my plastics.
