Well packaged. Solid metal, true stainless steel. Not flimsy metal. Comes with a loose fitting lid suitable for daily use and a tight fitting lid that fits on top of the loose one and will preserve freshness of spices for occasional use. The box sits nicely into the tight lid at the base when I'm cooking and using the loose fitting lid. The spoons feel a bit flimsy but suit their purpose. I just wish they were a bit smaller so they could rest inside the individual spice cups.. Currently I have to place them between the loose and tight lids or just leave them on top of the loose lid. But it's nice to have received two spoons. The set arrived very clean but I wiped with a damp cloth and dried the whole set before filling. Not sure how it would fare in a dishwasher. Very happy with this purchase.

Love the quality and it works perfect for organizing my most used spices. Highly recommend.

With all of the containers being stainless steel, the quality is great. This was a Christmas gift for my wife, and she was very happy with it.

I'm satisfied with my Masala Dabba. It looks and feels sturdy, the metal is shiny, no dents. One thing to note, however, is that the individual bowls really are of slightly different heights. I haven't figured out, however, if this is on purpose, or just poor quality control. Having said that, both lids fit nicely nevertheless! ****

I have a masala dabba for a long time but wanted another one for more spices I have currently introduced to my Indian cooking so got this one. The outer container, lid, inner lid and spice containers are all very sturdy. I am thinking of getting another one to keep all seeds, dried fruits and nuts handy for breakfast yogurt/oatmeal or salads!

I love it! The only issue was that the lid is just a little hard to get off, but that doesnt really bother me. It seems well constructed and sturdy. All the pieces fit in the tin properly and is great for storing my spices

Edited 08/31/2019 I have used this Masala Dabba for two months now. Here are my updated comments. Leaving each container open, I observed that some of the spices have lost their potency and now they have a weaker taste. The garam masala, cumin powder, and turmeric have become weaker. I did not like that at all. For the spices mentioned, I have reverted to keeping them in a tight lid glass jar. Lowering my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. ***** Original Review ***** I purchased the Masala Dabba based on the product reviews here and I am glad I did. The reviews here says it all. Not much I can add other than to say I am extremely happy and delighted with this Masala Dabba. It is a little pricier than similar products, but it is well worth that incremental cost. Just be aware that the cups do not come with covers. Also you have to affix a label on the cup so you know its contents or smell it.

Typically used for Indian cooking. I have also have one for Mexican style cooking and American. To most of my fellow Americans this is weird but I find it organizes my spice cabinet and makes cooking easier.

A great bit of kit

Highly recommended - it’s made out of stainless steel and was delivered on time as well. It’s the perfect size for all my spices and now I can just have it close to my cooking area at arm’s reach instead of up in higher cabinets, making cooking all the more convenient and easy. Definitely buy this, you won’t regret it!

Der Zwischendeckel der Dose ist nicht dabei ( fehlt ) ! Siehe auf Bild Somit kann die Dose niemals über Kopf oder zur Seite gekippt werden, da sonst alle Gewürze sich vermischen. Die Dose hat mehrere Beschädigungen 7x in der unteren dose, und noch 3x im Deckel, und einige Verfärbungen und Kratzer siehe Bilder Laut Beschreibung sollen zwei löffel dabei sein bei uns ist nur einer dabei. Und von der Produktion sind auf allen Teilen Schwarz Ablagerungen. Der Preis für das Produkt ist i.o. ,aber der Versand von 18 Euro ist schon eine Frechheit.

Bought this as a present. It is very well made and the spoce cups are just right. Just as a comparison when filled to 3/4 full they hold the same as a standard supermarket spice jar. Of course you wouldn't use these to fill this but it gives an idea. The removable lid covers the cups properly and allows for dry spices such as curry leaves, cinnamon etc, we put them in small zip lok bags and lay them in the tray. It's very well made and finished in quality stainless steel and the lid fits snugly. I think we bought a good one here considering some other reviews of other similar products.

Es gibt zwei Deckel, einen inneren (zum einfachen abdecken) und einen äußeren (der tatsächlich dicht schließt. Drei Nachteile, der zweite und dritte betrifft wohl jede Masala-Box: - Die Löffel sind zu lang, als dass man sie im Behältnis selbst verstauen könnte. - Dreht man das Ding versehentlich um, dann mischen sich die Gewürze. Lässt sich natürlich vermeiden, da klar ist, wo oben und unten ist. - Am Anfang dachte ich, das sei kein großes Problem, aber man muss sich merken, welches Gewürz wo ist (und manche Gewürze sehen sich wirklich farblich sehr ähnlich).
