Five star review. Very neat little compass gadjet. It's more of a premium product, precise machine details, heavy duty, works very well, gives accurate compass reading. It's small enough to place on a keychain, almost mini sized but easy to read. Designed well with the colors and gauge readings. Comes in a very nice packaged plastic small box too with extra presents.

This is my second one and it is titanium. It doesn’t seem to glow after quick exposure to light, then I read you got to leave it under the light for a few minutes. I use this as a real compass and not toy as use for point ham radio antenna and also for astronomy where pointing north has to be exact. So far very accurate and reliable. This is not a toy. I believe it has a built in damper system as it seems to find north right away without having to spin around before it stops. They should have used tritium at this price.

Its very nice it comes with 2 options for wear a stainless steel chain as well as a length of 550 cord my only complaint is its a bit expensive it is made of titanium steel the compass is functional and works well I considered exchanging it for a less expensive option but decided it was the best option despite its price being a vit high i chalk it up to its a well made compass works as it should and itll serve well for its intended purpose thank you and the Amazon customer service was phenomenal in assisting me with everything involved. This is a very small and excellent compass. Very sensitive and easily readable. It's also reliably accurate. Made from excellent titanium. Just what I was expecting.

The only thing that was a little negative was it was a little smaller than I thought but overall, I’d say it’s 100% home run. It even comes with a chain and a really nice plastic box that can be used to something else.

I first ordered two of these. They quickly acquired a direction only approximating North. Worse is the fact that the two differ in direction (as near as I can tell on a small button compass) by about 15 degrees! Well, a button sized compass understandably already limits its usefulness to general backup orienteering, but these can't even find North! I thought to give MecArmy a second chance and ordered two more of these hoping that I might have received unusually bad outlier units missed as faulty during assembly (bad QA/QC). Wrong. The next two display the aggravating characteristic of taking forever (many, many seconds - and never if holding by hand due to reasonable hand instability) to stop oscillating back and forth before finally settling into, again, bad approximations of North. The units look really nice. I bought Titanium for looks and durability (its non-magnetic and strong). I bought these to make "Ranger/Pace Bead" assemblies with attached titanium compass and titanium whistle for Christmas Gifts. I can't give these out because they are not even close to useful. Unless MecArmy contacts me after reading this and replaces these four units with functional ones, I must warn all that these are expensive eye candy that no one should entertain trusting in an emergency situation as a backup compass. I have to keep one of the four as I already incorporated it into one of my Christmas Gifts and is the least bad (withing -2 degrees of magnetic North). The other three I am returning since I'm not getting any support from seller via Amazon. I submitted pictures and movies showing the issues, but they got stripped from this review somehow.

Super slick little compass. I’d say 97% accurate but has general direction at 100% I made a lanyard for it. Perfect to knot around a belt loop and drop on my pocket or other gear. Great edc compass. Wish it was liquid filled.

I needed a compass for my car, (crazy the manufacturer didn't bother to put one in there! It has everything else!) but all the dashboard models online were so large! I just wanted a small, inconspicuous compass that I can look at when I'm in a new area and don't know my way around. Works great! It's easy to read too! I also figure it's versatile in that when I'm out hiking, I can also take it with me. Comes on an easy-to-wear chain.

Um den MecArmy-Kompaß mi Titangehäuse bin ich schon lange herum geschlichen - jetzt hab ich ihn mir gekauft, da ich nicht immer eine Armbanduhr trage, an deren Armband (zumeist ein NATO- / Zulu-Band) bei mir ein Uhrenkompaß angebracht ist - Angewohnheit aus meiner BW-Zeit, die ich nicht mehr abgelegt habe... Daß man mit dieser Art von Kompaß keine wirkliche Orientierung wie mit einem richtigen Marschkompaß betreiben kann, darüber sollte man sich schon im Vorfeld im Klaren sein. Für das schnelle Bestimmen der Himmelsrichtungen oder der groben Marschrichtung ist das gute Stück allemal geeignet, und dank des Titan-Gehäuses auch ziemlich leicht. Ich trage ihn mittlerweile mittels der mitgelieferten Kugel-Kette (anscheinend ebenfalls aus Titan, da auch extrem leicht) nahezu täglich. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung!
