This hammock is nice and wide. The product is as described. What has impressed me a lot was the customer service. The first hammock broke by one of the poles poking through the end of the sewn sleeve. This happened when the wife and I both laid on the hammock. We bought this hammock for the weight rating and how it stays open when two people are on the hammock. I reached out to the customer service email and was amazed at how fast a response was. A new hammock came within days. The new hammock broke the same way. I again reached out and was told a new updated hammock would be sent out. The new hammock was reinforced so as to not break. The new hammock arrived and so far it has not broken with the wife and I laying on the hammock. The hammock even held when our daughter's husky dog jumped up on us to lay in the hammock with us. The three of us would have been over the 450 pounds, so that was nice that the hammock did not fail. I recommend this hammock for anyone who is looking for two person hammock. The customer service for me was outstanding and that is a really big plus and is rare now a days.

Update: 6/30/25 - the company reached out following my review and offered to send a replacement as the failure was a craftsman defect. Unfortunately the Iowa weather has kept me from using the new one. In fact I just put it out today but I have had it for around 2 weeks. I am updating my review because the customer service is great. I trust that should I have any trouble with my replacement that they will make good on it. I would purchase from them again. Original: Hammock itself is comfortable. Does seem to dry fast. Overall I would have given a 5 star, however, I have only laid on this less than 5 times and already it is coming apart. My guess is I received a defective unit. Arrived May 29th and today is June 7th. The post ripped through the stitching on the sealed end. The end you seal shut during assembly is doing fine.

I have been using a Mayan hammock for several years and wanted to switch to something that wasn't as restrictive and I thought would be easier to get in and out of. While this hammock is comfortable getting in and out of it can be challenging. I thought the curved spreader would make it less tipsy, but the curve doesn't seem to make a difference. The first time I tried getting in to it my four year old daughter couldn't stop laughing watching her daddy try several times to get in with me landing on the ground each time. It took a little bit, but I finally figured out how to get into it without flipping. The hammock itself is comfortable, but the included pillow doesn't have much fill and doesn't provide much support. When left outside it tends to spin in the wind and usually ends up upside down. I tend to like this hammock better when it's not super hot as the fabric doesn't allow airflow so keeps me a bit warmer. My Mayan hammock is still better when it's really hot as the wind can just blow through.

The pictures don’t do it justice! It looks so much better than you see. The color is so beautiful! It is also way larger than expected which we love. It was easy to assemble and my kids love how comfy it is. It’s built so well and is very stable! Good value for money!

I’m happy with this hammock. I did add some chain to make it “bowl” more from front to back. I’m going to loosen and re tie the middle 5 knots to make it “bowl” a bit more from side to side. Do I really need to? Not really but I think it’ll help stabilize when 2 people are in it. Mine did not come with a pillow. I’ve not heard good things about them anyway. I’ll go to WM and get one I like. I do like the fabric it’s made of. It’s like a polyester plastic but is made to where air can circulate. Plus this material will dry a lot faster than cotton. This fall I might use a blanket underneath me if it gets too cool which gives me more control. Overall- very happy. BTW, I’m writing this review from the hammock looking out at the lake 😂. Now if I could just get someone to walk by and get me a beer…

This hammock is so comfortable and the fabric is great quality. I had to take 2 stars off though because the sealed end holding the bar came undone after only a few uses and now the bar won’t stay in the hammock. UPDATE: the company reached out and I sent pictures of the issue with the hammock and they sent me a new one free of charge. Excellent customer service!

Getting on and stay on this thing is a heart stopping circus act. I've had hammocks all my life, a couple years ago I said THIS was thee hammock I wanted for Mother's Day. I have a zero gravity recliner of the same material and adore it. Year one, I managed to get on it once and not from a lack of trying. I thought maybe it needed to spend a winter outside to develop that comfy dip, that cocoons you like a nice hammock will. I let my two teens have at breaking it is and several times they reappeared covered in in dirt laughing because the death trap bested them yet again. After a winter outside and two teens the only par that stretched were the sides. Almost making it even more precarious to try and climb onto. There is no lazily swaying for hours on this thing. You better have cat like reflexes just to shift about. If you have an eager dog like me who likes to comes and nudge you on the hammock, definitely avoid, unless you desire a meeting with the ground beneath you. Maybe a curved wood bar would make the design better, but don't waste your money on this unless you just need it for show. It is very beautiful and deceptively inviting. Great gift for anyone you hate.

Ok first this hammock IS sturdy and made with good materials. There is no mildew on it even though all my other outdoor furniture bought at the same time is covered in mildew so that part is great!! The bad thing is you can’t get in it without someone holding it or you call and even then it’s very difficult. It’s because the material is so slippery and the hammock so tight that as soon as you start to sit it flies out from under you, there is no stretch. I’m a pretty agile, in shape person but even holding it tightly while I tried to sit I ended up on the ground. My son tried to hold it and let me sit and we both ended up on the ground. Finally got in, barely moved, on the ground again. So while it was hilarious and should have been recorded 😂 I gave up.
