I remember my parents taking Ex-Lax when I was a kid. Now I am a senior citizen and having to take medications just like my parents years ago. Certain meds can and will cause constipation. I have been taking Rx medications for more years than I care to remember. I researched and found a certain 'tea' by the name of China Slim Tea. Please don't let the name fool you. This tea is from Asia and that region is notorious for using wonderful plants, shrubs and tea barks to help with medical issues. That tea does not have a great flavor but I have been buying the China Slim tea for over 15 years. The major issues I had with that tea was headaches and cramping. Ex-Lax does not have the cramping and I do not have headaches. I take one pill just prior to bed every other night and my bowel movements are thorough the next morning. I don't know why I did not think about Ex-Lax all those years ago since it has been a long time OTC helper. The China Slim tea is very potent, so I only use that tea for times of severe system back-up. I would highly recommend Ex-Lax to anyone that needs a very cost-friendly, effective and safe OTC stimulant for constipation :)).
