These are great for the price! They are not enteric coated, and very strong, which sets my MCAS flares off if taken as-is. But for the price, it's a good deal. So I open the capsules, and divide the contents into 3 doses, and then put those in enteric coated capsules. This works great, I get 90 capsules, 20,000 HDU each, enteric coated, to reach the small intestine intact. Most brands are not enteric coated, and without enteric coating, DAO does not work as well. Seems to be better than the competition because it has a higher percentage of quercetin and other herbs to combat the histamine response. So far it's better than the Pure.... But everyone is different and you need to try things to see how your body adjusts to it!

It actually seems to work pretty well.

I started using this supplement several months ago to support those occasional nights when my husband and I open a bottle of red wine in celebration or the simple enjoyment of relaxing with a delicious red….BUT as we get older we end up not feeling good the next day. We now choose red wine only from Fagueres region due to volcanic soil and other features that bring down levels of amines, mold, etc. That absolutely helps along with the DAO enzyme. We take this right before or during drinking wine and we are good to go. Love this stuff!!!!

I only bought these because Amazon screwed up my delivery of my regular DAO and these were the only ones that were same day delivery. They are TERRIBLE. Set off my MCAS like crazy. Scary!

I can't eat anything without these right now. They help keep food reactions down for the most part.

This enzyme REALLY helps me with my histamine intolerance , when others didn't do squat. I just wish Solaray made large counts available. You can take this three times a day, which means you would rip through a bottle in 10 days. Womp womp.

This is the 3rd DOA enzyme product I've tried. The other brands used porcine and peas, both of which caused uncomfortable and bad gas. I think maybe the Solaray's enteric coating helped. This product, made from only pea sprouts, was gentler on my stomach and didn't cause gas. I'm unsure how effective it was because I only had 10 days' worth of servings. I'm not giving 5 stars because there are only enough servings to last 10 days if you take one with each meal, as is generally recommended. The bottle is huge, but you only get 30 pills. It seems wasteful, and I'd rather not have to buy this product every 10 days, especially when it's way pricier than other brands.
