Original Repellent

Saw this brand recommended in another review for a different gnat repellent. I live where the gnats/ no see-ums will eat you alive, and you won’t know until a day later when the bites begin to itch so bad it keeps you up at night! Nothing has worked. And I have tried so many different spray repellents from deet to essential oils. I decided to give this a try. This is absolutely amazing!!! I only have to put it on once. It smells a little odd (like mint, vanilla, and geranium), but not strong or offensive at all. I love that it is safe for children and use around pets. This is the only thing that keeps the gnats away from me! It also is very effective against mosquitoes, too. The bottle has a twist/ lock and continuous spray. I highly recommend this! I am already on my second bottle. As everyone I am around wants to use mine!

We live in the deep south where biting no see'ums and gnats are extremely annoying. We tried this spray to repel no see'ums and it worked!! To our absolute amazement and delight, it also keeps regular old common gnats at bay. It's great that it's all natural and the scent is pleasant even though it is a little bit strong. This bug spray enables us to play outside for much longer than we would normally be able. Two thumbs up and 5 stars!!

Just used this today while getting a little sun in my backyard and I'm so happy to report that it works. I don't think I gotten any bites while out today so that's a huge win. I will update my review if this changes. I had to take a star away cause it was hard to spray my legs and the spray bottle would drip everytime I tried to buy that didn't stop me because I just used my hands to put the product on hard to reach areas. I love that this dried quickly and let me sticky residue or strong scent. The scent was a nice vanilla that was pleasant. Not expecting this to work 100% since it's an all natural product but I'm happy with my results today. I wasn't outside longer then 30 mins so keep that in consideration. If you are out for hours I'd imagine you have to reapply. Hoping this continues to work and if it does I'll get several bottles!

I like to sit out on my deck in Wisconsin where the state bird is the mosquito. I don't like using chemicals on my skin. This is a very peppermint smell that works right away. Remember to take your glasses and watch off if you're using it because it will leave a film on your lenses. I find that after about an hour I need to reapply. This does not irritate my sensitive skin like many other sprays do. I find the smell quite pleasant. It also has not stained my clothing.

Works great! We have taken it to lots of places including outside the country with lots of mosquitoes! Works like a charm. The smell is also good. We do reply through out the day.

Worked great for gnats

I would highly recommend this insert spray to anyone and everyone! I love that it is DEET free, does not have a greasy feel and don't smell badly. I have used for fishing, hiking, or just sitting outdoors. I would definitely purchase this product over and over.

I went for a walk on a damp buggy morning in Maine this weekend through a wetland sanctuary. I had just started using this sprary after combing through similar product after product as ensuring I am not chewed up on my hike is of primary importance and can obviously make or break the experience. What. A. Nightmare. I'll repeat that I JUST started using this product. Though the bottle IS small - I didn't expect I'd use THE ENTIRE BOTTLE on ONE hike. It did absolutely nothing to keep mosquitoes off of me. The bottle never left my hand as I was spraying CONSTANTLY. The mosquitoes were bumping into each other waiting their turn to feast and if anything I feel like I made my taste a little sweeter as this product smells like straight vanilla extract. I ended up getting so desperate that I unscrewed the spray nozzle and slathered handfuls of the liquid onto my arms and legs. This KIND OF worked for about 10 minutes and after that it was back to 5-7 mosquitoes on each leg even when I was walking constantly (forget taking any kind of break). I saw other hikers and they didn't seem to be troubled like I was which makes me wonder if this repellent really was attracting bugs to me. By the end of my hike I was sweaty, very frazzled and covered from head to toe in smears of blood and bug guts. What an absolutely terrible product.
