Maestri House Cold Brew Coffee Maker, 40oz BPA-Free Tritan Pitcher

After trying several ways to make cold brew, this has been the most convenient one. The pitcher has a great capacity, fits nicely in the refrigerator, and the lid seals well, so I haven't experienced any leaks. The filter does an excellent job of keeping the coffee smooth and free of sediment, and the finished cold brew tastes clean and balanced. I also like that the entire process—from brewing to cleaning—is quick and simple. The plastic feels thick and durable, which gives me much more confidence than using a glass pitcher. If you drink cold brew regularly, this is definitely worth buying.

Absolutely Splendid for cold brewing. I've primarily been using them to cold brew tea, but cold brewing coffee will work just as well. The every part really easy easily cleaned and furthermore, there has been zero spillage when I have them laid flat on the side in my fridge. It was so worth it that I actually got two!

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt like this product deserved one. This is an excellent cold brew maker. It is very easy to use and has a great 1,200 mL capacity. The plastic construction is more versatile (less fragile) than other brewers made from glass. The filtration system eliminates the sludge that other brew systems leave. The packaging is very thoughtful - a scoop and sponge are included. The scoop is easily overlooked, but it is the perfect size to clean the used grounds out of the filter. The sponge is an unexpectedly useful form factor to help with cleaning. Hopefully the sponges can be ordered separately, since sponges don't last forever. Some minor downsides: Cleaning is moderately easy, but the only component that is recommended for the dishwasher is the pitcher (which is also easiest to clean by hand). All of the other elements are recommended for hand washing, which doesn't take long. The way the filter is configured, the pitcher will work most effectively if stored (at least for part of the brew cycle) on its side. However, there is a vent in the lid that is prone to leaking when the pitcher is stored on its side. Brewing upright can lead to the top grounds not getting exposed to water. Unfortunately, one of the pieces broke during routine use after a couple of months: the pitcher lid is attached with a couple of hinges that snap the lid into place on the pitcher. One of the hinge attachments broke. I contacted customer service and a replacement pitcher arrived four days later. I'd recommend being careful with these hinge attachments as they seem prone to break. At the same time, the customer service is very responsive and suggests that they take support of their products seriously.

I found this was nice for brewing some cold coffee in and sticking in the fridge.

10 out of 10! i went to DL and ended obsessed with the cream cheese cocoa puff cold brew! so i started making them at home! i was using the starbs cold brew but toooooooo pricey! i ended up wanting to make my own coldbrew cause why not!? i got this last night! made a batch but to my knowledge i didnt know you shouldnt add the water too fast! it busted the bottom right out! so my water was filled with coffee beans! i did it again made sure everything was tightly shut and i did it slow and guess what! this morning i had the beeeeeeeeest cold brew! i let it rest on my counter LAYING down for 12 hours! i flipped it from side to side every few hours so it can reach all coffee grounds! it was so easy to use! it took me a while so let me save you some time! use a cup of coffee grounds! pour the water over the mesh over the grounds once you completely tighten the top over it. put the lid on tight lay on side! its super space saving even the 64 oz is decent! its light weight! super easy to carry and pour! no coffee beans in my coffee! it taste amazing! so strong and yummy! give me 14 of them!!

Very well made! Best quality I’ve ever had in a cold brew maker. Looks very expensive. What a difference in the one I replaced. So glad I found this. My friend saw it and ordered two. It works great, easy to maintain and I make my iced tea in this container also. It fits really well in my refrigerator door. I’m hoping this brand makes more products.

As much as I love Starbucks before work, and getting my coffee from there in the morning, I just ordered some similar plastic coffee cups, and I make my cold brew with this thing. I’ll throw some Pike’s Peak in there, with some hot water, and stick it in the fridge overnight, and boom! I got some pretty killer cold brew by morning. I highly recommend this product. It kind of makes my mornings, now.

One of the latches on the lid broke today. I bought it in January this year ( it’s August now). The container must be laid on its side to saturate the grounds and I’ve had 2 experiences with it leaking out in my refrigerator. I used it continuously making a concentrated brew that lasted 3 days. But it was getting more difficult to tighten and open the cap to remove the filter. While it was cheap and there was no need to buy filter bags I will NOT purchase another one due to the issues above. This was a replacement for the original Toddy design I used for years and loved it but they no longer make the basic one. Looking now for another brand.

Filter clogs. Have to open up the filter capsule and stir the insides around to get some water to actually penetrate the filter. One of the clips holding the lid on has broken after about 7 uses.

Very good for cold brewing. Coffee comes out rich and bold after 24 hours in fridge. Great for summer coffee. The jar is well made and robust...it doesn't leak not even laid down in fridge.

I previously had a 2L cold brew cylindrical glass jug that works but has a plastic handle that feels like it could snap from its own weight. It also barely fits in my fridge due how tall it is. This one works much better for me thanks to the relatively compact rectangular shape, short height, and much sturdier handle. While it only tops out at about 1.2L, this is more than enough for me. Takes me like 3 days to finish that amount of coffee. The most noticeable difference is the weight. This now feels more like taking out a carton of milk than a 10lb dumbbell. Very happy with this cold brew pitcher.

I bought this to make a cold coffee drink made with milk and a caramel flavouring. I used to buy ready made milk based coffee drinks from the supermarket and whilst they were nice I was worried about the amount of sugar in them so looked in to making an equivalent drink but without the sugar. Another problem with the bought drinks was the caffeine in them which if I drank a couple of glasses during the evening I struggled to get to sleep afterwards. This item looked ideal as it had a decent capacity, came with a measuring scoop and cleaning sponge, looked good and would sit in a space in the door of my fridge. So to use it I normally add 4 scoops of ground decaffeinated coffee to the infuser section, put in 8 shots of sugar free caramel syrup (Monin brand) to the jug then fill up to the top mark with semi-skimmed milk. The top is then clipped into place and the infuser section lowered in and turned to lock, screw on the lid and place in the fridge to allow the coffee to infuse. I find this makes a cold coffee drink that is easily comparable with the shop bought ones but without the added sugar and decaffeinated to suit. The item is also very easy to clean once you've finished drinking the contents upon which you will be wanting to make more.

Excellent cold brew pitcher. Very suited for a fridge as it can be placed both vertically and horizontally. I keep mine in one of those small beverage fridges and it just what I needed. The seal is tight, the coffee filter is easy to clean having both ends removable. Totally recommend you if you're looking for one.
