EuroGraphics Great Wave Kanagawa by Hokusai Puzzle (1000-Piece), (Model: 6000-1545)

We love Puzzles and this one did not disappoint. The pieces fit well together and made a great time for family nights. It was enjoyable to see the famous Great Wave Kanagawa come together It brought back great memories of our visit to Japan.

The puzzle is great. The pieces are high quality and fit is perfect. The final picture is rewarding and worth the effort. Difficulty is up there, but not oppressively hard.

Incredibly hard in a good way. Not a lot of variety in piece shapes but that added to the complexity. Not a puzzle for someone that likes to complete them quickly. This one takes a bit of thinking.

This puzzle arrived on time and had all the pieces. Correctly challenging and fun to do. My only complaint is that the pieces fit rather loosely so even if a piece is placed correctly it's difficult to tell, and many incorrectly placed pieces seem like they fit. It is the first puzzle I've done that when assembled it is still so loose you can't pick it up. That makes it challenging to apply backing if you save your puzzles.

I purchased this for the Mr who loves to do puzzles and get's obsessed once one has come out. He will sit down and work on them everynight instead of watching TV for hours after work so I like to spend a little extra to try and find challenging ones. The other puzzles I have purchased were completed in less than 4 days so I wanted to try and find something a bit more challenging. This topped the cake! It took him almost 2 weeks to complete because the colors are so similar in the sky area and it's the normal 1000 piece puzzle. The completed puzzle looks identical to the box and will be beautiful once hung in our downstairs game room.

Good quality puzzle. on the difficult side. I noticed several piece shapes that are poorly designed so that it is inevitable that they will break, and of course they are bent or broken right out of the box. Missing a piece but that could be user error./ Update, after mailing in a piece and requesting a replacement puzzle, as instructed, we did not receive any puzzle or communication. Great, now I have two missing pieces.

This is the 3rd puzzle that we’ve done during lockdown. I wanted one that was harder than the others so chose this one. While the overall quality and construction seemed good, right now we are about 1/4 of the way into the puzzle and I’m realizing that the way that the pieces are cut makes it so that it is difficult to tell if they fit correctly. For example, we generally do the edges before the middle. After finding all the edge pieces, there were 4 spots that didn’t fit together. I stared closely at the pieces to see if we had made a mistake and didn’t see anything obvious. Then I randomly removed a piece and found that it fit equally well into another piece! I assume that once all pieces are attached it will become obvious which go where but we didn’t have this issue with the other puzzles we’ve done and it seems like a flaw.

A lovely jigsaw. Quite hard but a nice challenge.

Comme beaucoup ee commentaires le disent, les pièces ont des formes très spéciales. Mais le rendu final est super, toutes les pièces y sont. Je conseillerais ce puzzle a de grands ados ou adultes, il est assez dur et cela pourrait vite frustrer votre enfant, voici une photo du rendu final, comme sur la boiyr

Just finished it. I'm used to doing 1000 piece puzzles and this one was very difficult.

De los mejores puzzles que he hecho, el concepto de que cada pieza sea de una forma diferente le da un extra de dificultad que hace que sea más entretenido y divertido, me lo pasé muy bien haciendo este puzzle, volveré a comprar puzzles de esta marca :)
