Just got this protein two days ago and tried it right away. UHMMM WOW!! The Banana Maple Muffin flavor smells so good as soon as you open the bag, like warm banana bread with a hint of maple. Honestly it also reminds me of a drips fall morning going to the pumpkin patch and you can smell the maple and brown sugar in the air! I mixed it with water and was surprised how smooth and thick it came out. It’s actually really good, super duper fine texture but I don’t mind it at all. The taste was soo darn good!! Like taking a bite off the top of your favorite maple muffin, with the sugar crumbles at the top. But this isn’t overly sweet either. It’s a perfect balance It’s recommended to use 10-12oz of water but I started with 8oz in case I preferred it with milk. It was super thick and I ended up using the thickness to my advantage and added to the top of my pancakes! GOWRLLL OMG my pancake game just increase exponentially lol. It’s a game changer! I also tried it in my oatmeal’s and it mixes very well, the super fine texture is gone!

This flavor is absolutely amazing!!! You can actually taste the maple flavor in it and the banana flavor isn't too overpowering. I love tru protein. I have been using their products for years now and love that their protein is clean and doesnt upset my stomach. My only critique would be that I wish they had more exotic flavors without sucralose. I usually only by the ones sweetened with monk fruit or stevia but wanted to try this flavor so badly. I look forward to trying more of their products in the future.

I have been following the co-owner of tru supplements for a while and held back from purchasing her products because i thought they were a bit pricey. I recently caved in purchased the banana maple muffin flavor. I just used it today with some almond milk only and it was very tasty and sweet. It is a bit sweeter than i am used to, but it's not overwhelming. I also like that i only need 1 scoop per 20 gram of protein. With other vegan brands 20 grams of protein is 2 scoops. This is important to me because i dont want my shake to be too thick. This powder was also not grainy like other vegan powders. I will probably buy more when pregnant.

I really enjoy this. I usually take it after work out and I mix it with Almond milk. Tastes good and it easy on my digestive system.

For the past 2 or more years, TRU protein is the only protein my family and I use. We love the variety of flavors the brand offers (just repurchased our fav, banana maple muffin) but most importantly love the quality & that this a clean product which is free of all the “gunk” that is not good for us. This mixes well with coffee & in our oatmeal. Often times if we have to run out the door it’s pretty easy to mix & take in a blender bottle. Just yesterday before we headed out to the park my son made himself a quick shake to take with him.

I really do like the flavor of this protein. However because sucralose is in it I don’t feel like it has clean ingredients as suggested. Why add a high risk additive when it also has monk fruit? Would love to come back to this protein once that’s removed!

Ok so let me clarify something a couple other buyers said: this protein powder isn't chalky, BUT it doesn't dissolve completely to liquid form when mixed with water/milk/etc... I've made it into a protein latte with coffee and milk and also just a plain old protein shake using water 1x and almond milk 1x. I've gotten the same consistency with all 3. It blends up great, comes out really creamy, without the need for a banana, but it is a lil gritty because it doesn't dissolve 100%. So, as long as ya blend it up good there's no clumps, no chalky taste and no bad aftertaste either. I would definitely recommend this protein powder and am definitely going to try some of their other dessert flavors!!!

Update: I have been drinking this protein shaking for a few months now thinking it was a delicious, healthy, plant based shake. I saw the warning label today advising on possible lead exposure, chemicals, and possible affects on one's reproductive health. . . . I am appalled. I don't recommend this product. DISREGARD When I am stressed out at work or on the go I tend to delay eating. By the time I feel relaxed enough to eat it is 9:00 pm. I decided to try this for breakfast and it is fantastic. I have a shaker from another company that has what looks like a large plastic jack in it which does a great job of thoroughly blends the protein powder in a cup of oat milk so I don’t need a blend or electricity. I can prepare a quick shake on business travel, at work, anywhere. I ordered the banana muffin and maple syrup. If you love pastries in the morning and tend to have a sweet tooth, this satisfies that craving for me. It is so delicious and not grainy or gross tasting like a lot of other powerless I have tried. I am lactose intolerant so appreciate that it is loaded with vegan alternatives. I had some gas but I am not sure if it was my body responding to any fiber in the product. I dislike Stevie, aspartame, and any fake substitutes that have a horrible after taste. This product does not have any weird after taste. It satisfies my appetite and my sweet tooth without being too sweet. I love it and will explore the other flavors.
