Does this go foamy when being used in a cleaning machine?

No its designed to be non foamy ,unlike soap

Can this be used on hard surfaces?

It’s a CARPET shampoo. You probably could use it for hard floors if you wanted to but the same could be said for head and shoulders shampoo. I’d be looking for a proper hard floor cleaner if I were you

Can it be used for sofa cleaning ?

I think it could be but you would absolutely have to give your sofa a good few days to dry out. Do bare in mind though it is developed for use on carpets with the bissel carpet cleaner, so make sure to dilute it.

Can this be used in the Bissell spot cleaner machine or only the full carpet cleaner?

Can be used also in the spot cleaner, I have the spot cleaner and it works wonders in that too!
