So much easier to attach and detach. Worth the every penny

The tow bar works great, it's sturdy and I really like it, BUT it is really heavy and awkward to carry around. In my situation, I cannot leave it in place while my motorhome is in storage, but if you are able to leave it attached to your tow vehicle, the weight concern should be no big deal. It claims to be non-binding, and I've never truly put it to the test on-purpose, but so far the release levers have never bound up on me, even when I wasn't on perfectly flat ground. I thought the lighting strip along each side was kinda hokey when I purchased it, but I was just towing last night in the dark for the first time, and I am now a believer. It really helped light up and define the front of my towed vehicle while towing in the dark, and as a bonus it also served as my "work light" while I was unhitching the towed vehicle at my destination.

Outstanding product. Easy hook up . Very durable and I am very happy with its performance. I would highly recommend this for anyone toeing behind their motorhome.

Excellent quality have had this for 5 years. I don’t tow a lot but went cross country towing our Jeep in 2019. Still works great. The lights are super helpful for hooking up or unhooking at night. Additionally provide some extra ground lighting and visibility for other cars, walking around or viewing in rear motorhome camera. Keep in mind you cannot backup when hooked up. But that is true for all of these style units.

Simple to install and connect your Toad. More importantly, super easy to unhook regardless of position with the patented easy load release system built in the the Nighthawk. Wouldn’t use any other tow bar for my rig.

I haven't towed with it yet but the design and build quality looks really good so I give it a top score. Would have been a 5 except that it was shipped in a flimsy carboard box with no extra packing on the ends. The box was pretty much destroyed when it got to me and that caused the paint to be damaged.
