I’m not sure. This was purchased for my son. I would assume that it is just a slightly different looking design.

Is there an imaginator already in it if used?

It depends, sometimes no. I would check the listing description for the used item to see. Our used ones generally don’t and just come from damaged outside packaging materials, but some sellers may be selling truly used ones that have a figure saved on it.
