Act one: the setup My kid is very excited by spinning things. Loves ceiling fans, toy helicopters and fidget spinners. Is mostly non-speaking, but the first words he could say with confidence were “lights on.” I order him a light up fidget spinner and think myself parent of the century for finding this intersection of his two favorite things. Act two: the gifting I give him the fidget spinner for Easter. Patting myself on the back all the while for purchasing this early and not forgetting where I hid it prior to basket hiding time. He spins it, and it does t light up. He’s happy as a clam, but I’m sitting there thinking, this is the best constructed fidget spinner this kid has ever known, but it’s supposed to light up! (He had some others where little ball bearings used as stabilizers would fall out - super unsafe. The construction of this baby is awesome! It would probably spin forever if uninterrupted, but he just can’t help but fiddle with it.) The package has an email address for customer service, so Mama Easter Bunny fires off a quick message and gets a response back within a day. I send my address and a replacement is en route, even though I’m outside of the Amazon return window. Act three: the big reveal The second one arrives, I quickly unwrap and present the item. A quick spin reveals no lights. Defeated, I leave it with my son and send an email. This one doesn’t work either, but he loves them anyway. Thanks for trying, but check the others in stock. I receive a message back soon after. “Sorry to trouble you, but did you press the buttons?” THERE ARE THREE MAGICAL BUTTONS THAT MAKE IT LIGHT UP! This svelte little contraption is so smooth and aerodynamic that you don’t know the buttons are there until Bruce from Customer Service asks if you pressed them. I laugh out loud to my spouse who thinks I’ve gone mad. Bruce assured me that I’m not the only one to make this error. (An expert move, to allow me to save face in front of my partner who is now questioning his biggest of life choices.) The moral of the story, my friends, is that this fidget spinner is sturdy and smooth. Perfectly sized. (Not too big for a 4 year old, not too small for an adult.) It has impressive craftsmanship and nearly frictionless spinning. The customer service is absolutely fantastic. And after all that, even though you may be too dumb to notice, it lights up.

i used these in a resource math group as timers for math challenges. the kids loved that they lit up and were easy to spin.

This is one of my son’s favorite Christmas gifts. He’s 12, neurodivergent and sometimes has trouble sitting still, being calm, or waiting for things/transitions-this fidget spinner makes those things easier. He loves that they light up, have three different color settings and even make a relaxing swishing sound when you spin them. I’ve even started playing with them too just to unwind or pass the time if I’m on hold on a phone call. It’s a good value for the money considering that they include 5 spinners in the pack. Just try to remember to press the round ends of the spinners three times to turn the lights off and preserve the batteries because it doesn’t seem like they can be replaced.

I can’t speak to their longevity just yet, but so far all of the spinners work great and actually feel better made than any other fidget spinners we’ve had. The kids were so excited to discover that they lit up and made cool patterns when spun. If they continue to hold up this well, I’d say this is a very good deal for a 5-pack (I got on sale for about $10).

Being a father of an autistic son this things come in to handy all the time great sensory toy for autistic kids or even an adult. Feeling stress this thing works great. The light effect has something soothing about it. Overall great item for the price you can’t beat it.
