Just what I was looking for!

My son loves this book. This is actually are second one because he loved the first one to pieces...literally! Being a preschool teacher, I come across a wide range of books and stories, and this one is a keeper. Most children enjoy stories that rhyme or involve singing. The song is fun and encourages children to learn about rhyming. I can't wait for my son to start coming up with his own rhymes (he's 1.5 right now). The illustrations are cute and fun. A quick tip, if you don't know how the song goes, look up the song online and you'll quickly find one where the author Raffi sings it. Awesome book for every age!

Rafi is one of my all time favorites Love to read the book with my grandchild and sing along like I did with their mom.

The book is written as a story, but it's also a song! (Check YouTube) My grandchildren love it. And they live near a bay! When they saw the bay for the first time, my grandson asked, "Where are the watermelons?" Haha!

I have been listening to Raffi since my mother played him nonstop on 13 hour roadtrips with six children to see our grandparents. She played him, because it was the only music that we all enjoyed and would listen to over and over again (I am not quite sure how the tape never wore out with all of the rewinding to hear a "favorite" 3 times in a row!). It helped to pass the time and keep us from fighting while she was driving. We aged from newborn to 14 and we all LOVED Raffi. I wanted to purchase his albums so that my children would have the chance to learn from him and have the pleasure of knowing one of the greatest children's entertainer ever!

La chanson "Down by the bay" est très jolie sur le disque de Raffi "Animal songs", et le livre est un compagnon qui va vraiment bien avec. Les deux sont très appréciés de notre fils. Le livre permet de mieux comprendre les paroles, car la chanson est un peu rapide et l'enfant voit à quoi correspondent les animaux cités.

Livro com ilustrações lindissimas! Meu filho de 1 ano e 4 meses amou esse livro eu leio cantando pra ele e ele ama demais pede varias vezes o mesmo, acho que por conta das rimas fica bem legal de ler e cantar.

YouTubeやマザーグースクラブでもお馴染みの歌で、歌いながら読むと1歳の子が手拍子しながら聞いています。本人はまだ歌えませんが一緒に口ずさんで楽しんでいる様です。Raffiの本シリーズはベイビーベルーガを筆頭に購入していますが、どれも子供には大ヒットで英語も難しくないので夫婦揃って読んであげることができています。英語に触れるならオススメのシリーズです。
