Super Poligrip Strips Size 40 Ct Poligrip Strong All Day Comfort Seal Denture Adhesive Strips

Featured in the Dino de Laurentiis epic film "When Dentures Fail..Slip Into Oblivion" these clever little strips solve several problems. When properly made your upper plate should need no adhesive, but your mouth WILL change over time due to gum recession. Don't have the cash for new plate, these will tide you over. Their adhesive is stronger than denture creams and can be put exactly where needed. I use one on each side. I had an unused implant removed and now my upper REALLY doesn't fit. These work. On the bottom I have a partial that was ripping my gums to pieces (they say the bottom is more problematic) My dentist recommended these and it has been a life (gum) saver for me. I wish they were easier to open, these old hands cannot navigate the finicky tab at the top and they are sealed tight against moisture. I use scissors. On Amazon they are always available (unlike Walmart) and are a good value.

I think people will like them. I do. They are easy to use and grip really well.Once it's in my mouth it stays there.

Once you get the hang of placing the strips in the most comfortable spots, it is an AWESOME product! No mess, no nasty taste, it's just wonderful.

I've been using Grip Strips, and overall I like them. They're definitely better than the paste adhesive, and I love that they're easy to carry and store in my bag. The only downside is that they can be a little difficult to open, especially for someone who has trouble with small packaging. As for performance, they stick pretty well—better than most products I've tried—but they don't quite last all day. They're still a bit messy, but nowhere near as messy as paste adhesives. Overall, I think they're a convenient and effective option and would recommend giving them a try.

Maybe it's just me,,,but I couldn't ever get strips to pull apart from the tab it was on...I never got to place not one of them in my mouth!!! And a female on Youtube said similar.

These work great to give not only extra adhesive but a little cushion as well. Highly recommend 👌

**IMPORTANT for users of at-home Denture Reline kits** These strips leave a waxy residue on dentures that no amount of soaking with denture tablets & scrubbing will remove. I'd used denture reline kits to compensate for bone loss/collapsing bite & keep the force on my back teeth (where it belongs). After using these strips for a bit, I went to replace my reline, but the material would no longer stick to my denture & peeled right off. I wrongly blamed the reline kit, thinking they'd changed the formula. Suddenly, the jaw's forces were on my front teeth too. Within weeks, my top two front teeth (a crown & an implant) snapped off! Had I known that using these strips would end my ability to use denture reliner, I would have avoided them. I hope this info saves others from making the same costly & painful mistake. Otherwise.. PROS: > Stronger, longer hold & better fit than paste, powder, or SeaBond paper strips. >No taste. >I like the thickness, but it may feel a bit stiff unless thoroughly saturated. Warm/hot tap water helps meld strips into place & soften the edges. CONS: >Can be difficult to use if you have handgrip/dexterity issues. I use scissors to make slits at the end of each individually sealed package, so the plastic tears open easily. >Slippery once wet. I've dropped my fair share into the sink. Dipping strips into a cup of water is preferable to holding under the faucet. >When placed near the edge of the denture, they can ooze out the sides over time, causing food to get stuck in the congealed gunk that gathers between the denture & gums. During cleanings, be sure to run a finger firmly along your gums to ensure there's no leftover adhesive. >I would have rated these a star higher if they had a warning about use with reline material!

I find these very easy and the least messy to use on my partial upper denture. You need to be quite dexterous to open each individual strip, I use scissors but once they are open I run the denture under the tap to stick the strip on then briefly under the tap before inserting in my mouth. They are quite easy to remove, no worse than anything else I have tried, and they keep my denture secure all day.

The protective layers are un removable and tears off. They have totally gelled with the adhesive strip and becomes messy. In my opinion they should have made it like band aid peel off. Bottom line=Waste of money
