Very good product, give the result I want

PERFORMANCE & RELIABILITY ​• This CO₂ absorbent from Two Little Fishies performs exactly as advertised for my reef tank. ​The color change is distinct and provides a reliable visual indicator for replacement if you aren't monitoring your levels digitally. ​THE "AQUARIUM MARKUP" (CRITICAL COST ANALYSIS) ​• While the performance is solid, the primary drawback is the price-to-volume ratio. ​• Technical Note: This is marketed specifically for aquarium use, which carries a noticeable "specialty" markup. For heavy, long-term maintenance, the cost of these smaller containers adds up quickly. ​TECHNICAL WORKAROUND: GOING BULK ​• If you find yourself going through these quickly, I’ve found it much more economical to switch to medical-grade soda lime sold in bulk (like the 38 lb. buckets). ​• I have a separate review on the medical-grade bulk option where I’ve shared data from my pH monitor showing it performs identically for a fraction of the cost per pound. ​FINAL VERDICT ​• This is a quality product that does exactly what it says on the bucket. However, because it isn't the most economical choice for long-term use, it loses a star for value. If you're a heavy user, it’s worth the effort to source medical-grade bulk alternatives.

While the product works to remove CO2 from the air and raise the pH in the tank, it doesn't last long. As others have noted, depending on your setup, you will need to change the media every 2 weeks (give or take a week). At that rate, a 3 L bucket doesn't last long. In addition, the cost of this product has more than doubled. At $72 + tax/bucket you will be spending $400+/year on this media alone. Absolutely not worth the price. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and use an alternative method.

This works great for raising PH! Wish it was a bit cheaper though

A bit expensive. Does what it says on the label. Has stabilised my PH in a marine reef tank.

This product doesn’t last as long as advertised. The other brand I use was out of stock, so bought this instead. Last half the time as the other brand. It does work and works well, but I will not be buying it again.
