Staple in My Cabinet
The ONLY product that has consistently helped my monkey brain and anxiety in perimenopause when hormones were wildly fluctuating. Half dose helped me to sleep and relax when awake without feeling sedated or hung over next morning. May not be for everyone's chemistry, but perfect for me when I need it. And I appreciate that it is USA owned, grown, and processed for peace of mind.

Very effective
Valerian root is very calming. This brand particularly. I take 2 capsules prior to bedtime and it had helped me with menopausal hot flashes control. I am now able to sleep through the night.

This really works!
This works well for me. Melatonin never has. Since becoming widowed I at times have a difficult time falling asleep and staying that way. I share this trick with many of my widowed friends and they have reported that it works for them too.

This is wonderful to create a feeling of inner peace and calm. The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is it is a bit costly for the amount you get. And I take more than the 2 pills usually. Gaia is a trusted brand.

My husband uses this for insomnia. It helps more than others he has tried. No drowsiness or hang over the next day. No side effects. Good value for the money.

Oh Brother, This Guy Stinks.
This stuff will make you feel like a wet noodle the ENTIRE DAY afterwards. Mother of god. I have never felt this weak throughout the day. It will also keep you up at least 2 hrs past your original bedtime, for some reason it gives you energy. Side note: I am used to valerian root smelling like feet, but the scent of this one is actually unbearable. It smells like something you shouldn't be ingesting.

Makes you very relaxed and ready for sleep.
I have historically had a tough time getting to sleep. Some nights I would be tossing and turning for a couple hours with my thoughts working overtime. I'd get so wound up I knew sleep was a long way to come. I'm nearly done with my first bottle and just ordered another one. I used valerian root previously but no matter what brand, the capsules smelled so bad and, god help you if you burped, it could ruin a night. These caps are liquid filled. No smell, no talking back. In about 20-30 minutes, I'm drowsy and ready for bed. These are the best!
