Double bill of action thrillers starring Gerard Butler. In 'Olympus Has Fallen' (2013), trying to adapt to civilian life after a tragedy ended his Secret Service career, former special forces veteran Mike Banning (Butler) is thrust back onto the front line when a group of terrorists led by Kang (Rick Yune) attack the White House and seize American President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart). Despite the high security of the event, the attendees, including President Asher, come under attack from terrorists intent on eradicating some of the most powerful leaders. Total Disappointment.
The listing has now been updated to identify this as a Region 2 format. It didn't specify in the listing when order was placed. Guess they got tired of one star reviews and decided to update the information? Doesn't work in our US player. Not interested in paying to ship it back overseas, and since we opened the package and tried to play the disk, the seller is not required to provide a refund. At least we have friends in Germany that might enjoy this. Another One Star review for this disappointing experience.

Gerard Butler is awsome as Mike Banning.
Gerard Butler plays secret service agent Mike Banning who has to protect the president of the United States from terrorists both in USA and London. He takes his job very seriously. Great action scenes. If you like hero movies, these are the ones to watch.

Brilliant: fast paced with a lot of exciting action.
Fast paced action film. Brilliant. I just love Gerard Butler because he's an exciting actor. The film itself is fast paced which keeps your attention from start to end. It's very fictional and hard to believe that terrorists could take over our governments (UK and USA) but I just love the action, the drama, the acting, the story line and everything. Loved it so much told my friends who are eagerly awaiting to watch both films.
