The construction of this lens is as it appears in the photos... feels solid with glass and metal parts, save for the clip-on component. If I had to guess, I'd say these budget lenses began life as Macro/Wide-angle lenses for consumer camcorders of a decade ago and have now found new life as adapters for cell phone cameras - which is a good deal for us consumers. Looking directly through the lens, you'll notice it resolves very crisp at the center but drifts into blur near the edge. This is fine since the cellphone's lens only uses the center portion. The wide-angle lens actually unscrews from the macro lens, giving you the ability to focus on items very closely. Re-attaching the wide-angle adapter offers a reasonably wide viewing angle, but on my Google Pixel 2, the lens vignettes in the corners - but not in video mode. Other than that, this is a great budget lens to expand the photographic capabilities of your cell phone camera.

The developers of this product went to great lengths to make it perfect. And it is. I don’t use it because it doesn’t fit my iPhone 17 Pro Max with the case on. I don’t want to have to take the case off to use it. My bad.

I can’t even get this to stay on my phone. I tried for 30 minutes to get the base piece to stay put on my phone but it kept popping off. The instructions are horrible. Not useful at all. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

I watched a number of YouTube reviews before purchasing this macro kit, and I was so excited when it arrived! Unfortunately, it did not perform as well as my iPhone's built-in settings. I also tried the Apexel lens with a number of third-party "professional" photography apps (Leica, Lightroom, & Halide), which allow you to manually focus, but the Apexel lens was still not as detailed as the phone's built-in 3-camera system. Please see 6 attached photos for side-by-side comparisons of 3 very different macro subjects (a flower, the point of a pen, and a pencil sharpener). Although I am returning this product, I was impressed with its build quality. I thought about keeping it just as a handheld Loupe, but again my less expensive jeweler's 10x loupes magnify better than this lens, in spite of its high optical quality. So I just couldn't find an application where it worked as well as the cheaper products I already use.

I got this to take pictures of isopods and other insects, safe to say it works incredibly well for this purpose! It's a bit large and wonky, but not in a bad way. It is a bit heavy so it can make getting pictures slightly hard, but overall it's pretty easy once you get everything set up. It can get pictures of extremely small springtails and mites, although it is harder to get it to focus, it is possible. Highly recommend this lens to other isopod keepers

My mistake in just looking at the title of "Zoom" lens. I did not pay attention to the accurate "Macro Zoom" lens. That was my error. But upon trying to use the lens as described I found it difficult to maintain the position of the lens in a usable position. So I find the product less than desirable even as described.

I dont if this company is just new, or lazy employees (which will cause the company as a whole to have the lazy lable) I was super excited until I opened the box and seen it was all thrown into a bag together. No lens cover on the lens, and the lens was free floating in a bag of other products that would potentially cause scratches to the costumers new lens. I know it not on the high end of price and quality but that should matter. You should take pride in all you products, as well as appreciate and respect your costumers enough to care about how the they receive the product and what condition it is in. Due to their S****** packaging my new lens has a scratch in it. You know I own a small business selling jewelry and I would never just throw everything in a bag together like this. The worst part is I love the lenses attachment bracket, that attached it to your phone. This company is the only one I've found with something like that. The clothes pin design is a joke, these lenses are to heavy for that. My lens would move just a fraction of a centimeter and it effects my photo. So I cant send it back because I will use it with one of my unscratched old lenses because the one they sent is more than likely a glorified paper weight now. Apexel you can do better this. I would hate to purchase anything else from your company and add to your profits being as you obviously do care at all if the costumer is satisfied. At the end of the day profit merge is probably the only thing that you think matters. But if you want to build something that will last costumer satisfaction should be at the top along with your profit merge. Ive been saying for a few year online and trust me if you want to make life long costumers in one sale, do better than how you did my stuff. Okay now other than that, I really like this product. It seems to be sturdy and well made. Its on the heavier side but if you want quality you have to compromise. I wish it wasnt scratched. I was so looking forward to see what the photos of my jewelry looked like. I will update if needed

To be honest, I found the wide lens pretty laughable. Fixed over the main camera of my phone, it gets about the same range as the phone's inbuilt ultrawide camera, but with more distortion; fixed over the ultrawide camera, it's so zoomed out and distorted that the scene just becomes a tiny bubble. I guess it might be useful if your phone doesn't have an ultrawide camera, or maybe over the selfie camera if you don't mind the distortion. However, the macro lens, which is what I really bought this set for, is fantastic! It lets you get much closer to objects, and I've included some shots of my miniature collection to show what it can do. Image quality really depends on your phone's camera — the lenses are very clear glass, so they don't really obstruct anything, you just need to find the right focusing distance. The clip is plastic but the frames of the lenses themselves are nice solid metal, and they screw firmly into place. The carrying pouch is also a nice touch, except that mine really strongly smells of peppermint. Why peppermint? I guess there are worse things to smell like, but still, why?

Also mit meinem Iphone SE ist es eine optimale Weitwinkel kamera. Man sieht zwar am Rand dass es etwas verschwommen ist (aber selbst das nur wenn man es sich auf 55" anschaut, also auf einem Fernseher) Wenn man sich auf Handys die Bilder oder Videos anschaut merkt man nichts. Bei neueren Handys mit mehreren Kameras hinten kann man das Ding leider nicht mehr benutzten.

Loved this one. It's truly near perfect to DSLR. Macro is superb but wide angle is just awesome. It's a true buy. Works great on OnePlus 6

It offers both wide-angle and macro options in one compact kit, which sounds great for casual phone photography. In practice, image quality feels inconsistent, with noticeable softness and fiddly alignment. It can be fun to experiment with, but performance is not dependable enough.

La calidad con la que toma las fotografías en modo Macro es excelente, yo lo uso con mi iPhone X y he de mencionar que estoy mas que satisfecho ! La calidad del material es muy bueno , incluye sus tapas para el lente y una bolsita para transportarlo , un paño para limpiar el lente . Realmente muy muy practico y súper útil .

Se o seu celular tiver a função macro, está lente não acrescenta nada.
