Steadfast 4-in-1 Hunting Jacket Parka, Waterproof Insulated Cold-Weather Thinsulate Coat

The rule has always been that any kind of all in one anything is going to be poor at best at everything. “All season” tires aren’t very good in any season. On/off road motorcycles aren’t very good as road bikes or dirt bikes. Plainly put, if you want good then get something that specializes at that 1 specific task, not a multi purpose all in one.This jacket absolutely shatters that rule! I’ve tested wearing just the outer shell in hard driving rain, it’s exceptional as a rain jacket, and an exceptional wind breaker. I’ve tested wearing just the inner lining as a regular jacket, looks great, feels great, works perfectly. Most recently I’ve been able to test the complete package put together in subfreezing, high wind rain/sleet/snow, other than the hood it’s perfectly warm and cozy. You’ll still need more hat on your head for warmth than this provides but the rest of your areas this coat covers will just completely ignore what the weather on the outside is doing. It truly is a multi use product that excels at all.I can’t rate long term durability, but it certainly feels like it is very well made and out of nice quality materials, if I had to guess I’d say long term durability shouldn’t be a concern.I was willing to pay twice this if it was going to be the perfect coat for me to work in the cold comfortably in. I would have never gambled twice this price for an all in one jacket though, so this would have went undiscovered. Now that I’ve tried it I wouldn’t be upset at all if I had paid 2, even 3 times as much money for this jacket.The only thing I can say I’d rather see different about this jacket is get rid of the zippers on the lower side hand pockets. If I take my gloves off to warm my hands in my pockets I don’t want to feel zipper rubbing on my bare wrists. Zippers are great on all the other pockets, just not the hand pockets.

Wow this coat is super heavy , but not uncomfortable . You will be satisfied out in the cold with this coat .

I'm not much of a hunter but now that I am close to retirement I'm looking at getting back into it. Wanted to get some gear and not break the bank. I selected this coat because it is very comparable to a few other four-in-one products that I saw from a major hunting clothing supplier and also a major retailer store brand. This coat seems to have good fabric, good finish and at about 1/3 the cost. I'm heading out on a goose hunt soon and I will report back how it performs when I'm sitting out the field in 15° weather.

Keeps me warm, and fits well even with layers.

I recommend this to anyone. Great price and a true winter hunting jacker. 2 pieces make it versatile.
