Excellent improvement on the 1990 original
Thirty-plus years ago I bought the original Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible's first printing in its original NASB version while I was a student in bible college. As most churches have since moved on to the ESV, I was so happy to find that they have expanded the format to other translations, including said ESV. With this updated edition, the margins are wider, the previously separate Lexical Aids and Strong's Dictionaries (which were reproduced as shrunken images of the original pages that were difficult to read) have been merged into combined "Annotated Strong's" dictionaries with much more readable type, and the included bookmark with the Greek verb forms is a nice touch. Otherwise the layout is identical to the original from 1990 (other than of course, being ESV rather than NASB).With "The Complete Biblical Library" long out of print and now only available through Logos Bible Software's walled garden at significant expense, this is an excellent resource for biblical language junkies and students and everyday readers diving into the original languages for the first time.

Great for beginners
I bought this because it is so highly recommended and I love studying the original Greek words (even though I can't speak Greek). And this would be great for beginners. However, I already have a concordance and an interlinear Bible, so this really wasn't that helpful to me. It only lists the Greek key word for some of the words, if you want to know one that isn't listed,you have to check a different resource.

Bible Nerd must-have
I am a Bible Nerd. I bought this to enhance my nerdiness because sometimes you just want to know a little more about the words used in the Word. Tonight I found one disappointment when I wanted to look up a specific word and it did not have a reference for that word. So now, my nerd quest deepens and I will purchase another thorough word explanation reference for the Bible. But, this is great. I love it and I am happy to add it to my collection.

I feel like the pictures for this product + review made it difficult to see what all this Bible contained. But upon arrival, I’ve looked through everything and cannot wait to dive in! The OT + NT dictionaries are in the back of the Bible with corresponding letters throughout the text. For example, John 15:1 has “true” underlined with a number - if you go back to the NT dictionary, look up the associated number, you find all these amazing details/definitions about “true”! I’ve always been fascinated by what the original text would have actually said/what did we lose in translation? This definitely shows that!

Keyword Study Bible is outstanding!!
In many instances our English translations miss the emotion or heart of the what the actual scripture in Hebrew and Greek bring to the reader. There is a deeper meaning often missed. Getting this Key Word Bible opened up a whole perspective to me. The actual Bible is full of metaphors and parables that many miss the deeper meaning but this Key Word Bible helps to remedy this. The only thing I wish was better is for every English word to have the Hebrew and Greek along with it instead of just the keyword in the sentence and for it to be all in one Bible. Though I recognize the Bible would be huge. Using this along withy the "Blue Letter Bible" online will bring a whole new world in understanding scripture in a way you will be glad you pursued!!
