1-1/2" TwistIIClean Inline Water Filter (Brown - 30 mesh/600 micron)

I bought this product to replace an identical product that failed in February of 2022. The original had developed a small pinhole leak at a seam in the plastic in the main body of the filter. The leak was at the area indicated in the picture and it leaked a few gallons per day. This filter was in place at my home when I moved in, so I found a replacement on Amazon and ordered it. I installed the replacement in February of 2022 and it worked fine until July of 2023 when it developed a leak in the exact same spot. This is clearly an issue with the product itself, I would encourage you not to buy it. Additionally, I do not know what the warranty policy is for this product because on the product page it says to message the seller for that information. I have yet to receive a message from the seller in response to my inquiry about the issue.

We installed this twistIIClean on our water well and have zero regrets! It works very well and is so easy to clean the filter. Literally just turn the handle. It's perfect! Love that you don't have to buy monthly filters and helps our secondary cartridge style filters last much longer! In the attached picture you can see the sand that this filter captured and kept out of our house piping and appliances!

I have had to buy a new one almost every year because the plastic parts are breaking. I insulate this in the winter and it still doesn’t seem to help. It’s an expensive piece to replace annually.

used this as a second level of filtration for pond water used for watering a large garden. well constructed and was easy to install. excellent product
