using with HA as an esp-home bluetooth bridge
surprised how easy it was to program this with esp-home and since then it has been working as a bluetooth bridge in home assistant without any issues. Great little product that has been rock solid.

Work perfectly for various IoTs projects. Easy to program and reliable, so far, I had zero issue. The only downside is related to the size of the reset button, way too small for my fingers... but no big deal.

Can’t run WLED
Great chip super compact would have been amazing if they would take WLED. I’ve tried the work around to no avail but still so much capabilities in such a little Chip you can fit this little guy Just anywhere just as easy to use as any ESP 32 and for pennies on the dollar you can’t complain

This SOC microcontroller really is amazing. It's formfactor and capabilities are astonishing. Great for DIY Iot projects.

Capable chip. Small size. C6 NOT WLED compatible
This review is for the Esp32-c6. It’s a good chip and I’ve had success with it. I bought due to small size, WiFi, Bluetooth and optional external antenna. Accidentally thought wled would work. But it is NOT compatible with WLED. So I had to program it myself. While a fun leaning experience I didn’t plan on it. Also been having problems with PlatformIO and Espressiv compatibility. I’ll find a library that wants platformio v-latest but only works with Espressiv v3. It’s been a nightmare. Espressiv is nice just different and its own world. The ws2812b led library required old expressive so I had to look up old Bluetooth coding style - and docs are always about current versions A good chip with vendor support. But not well supported in the open source world. Limiting and increased blood pressure. 😇

Hard to go wrong with these. Have you used many of the different types throughout the last few months and all have worked well. Fantastic easy to use. Shipping time for manufacturer is much longer than here but obviously at a lower price from the manufacturer direct

Good thread border router for cheap
I have this connected via usb to a home server running home assistant; I have it running as a thread border router (using OTBR). It's working fine, setup was a bit annoying but it's been solid since then. The built in antenna is weak, and seems to be very sensitive to USB interference, so it works better with an extension cable and would probably be best with an external antenna
