Not good
Terrible. Speakers sound awful and the stereo is flimsy and lacks amplification.

I wouldn't call myself a vinyl connoisseur but I do like to whip out the old collection particularly at this time of the year. There is something magical about playing music from records that, in my opinion, cannot be replicated with todays modern devices and streaming services. I was fortunate enough to be able to test this Victrola record player and here are my thoughts: Pro's Up and running within 5 minutes - attach power cable (comes with selection of 2 and 3 pin adaptors for different countries), RCA cables from speakers and remove packaging/guards. Attractive oak wood finish on turntable and speakers (grill covers were cream on my unit) gives this a lovely vintage look Simple controls - 3 speeds, auto on/off and power/volume control knob all on the right hand side. The removable clear acrylic dust cover swings up at 45 degrees, or can be closed during play to keep your vinyl dust free (also see cons) Comes well packaged (double-boxed) and protected with soft bumpers to hold platform in place and tone arm guard with locking lever Audio-wise musicality is smooth with a darker tone and didn't miss a beat Con's Not sold on the hard wired RCA connectors on speaker side. Would have preferred wire terminals for removable cabling. Speaker mesh covers came in cream for me - would have preferred black but still looks smart. The acrylic dust over has cut outs to the rear and left side to accommodate the record, however, I would have preferred the cover to be completely enclosed. With the cut-outs, at least the turntable platform size is kept compact. Controls not accessible with acrylic lid down All in all, this is a very smart looking and relatively compact full-sized record player with too dinky speakers that did well conveying audio from my collection. I believe this is a highly capable entry-level player which looks excellent thanks to its dark wood finish, is very easy to use and comes in at a very reasonable price of just under £100 at time of review.

Well, it's time to listen to the old vinyl collection. First impressions of this Bluetooth turntable are positive. The turntable and two wired speakers have a stylish and contemporary feel. They appear to be well made with a good finish and not cheap or tacky. It will look great in any room of the house. The turntable has a clear perspex dust cover, which has 'cut outs' to accommodate larger 12" albums. This keeps the unit compact. The turntable has three selectable and accurate speed settings for Lps, singles, and 78's; although I'm not old enough to have any 78's in my collection! The rotary volume knob is located on the top of the turntable base. It has a manual arm and no auto-return. I've found the damper used to slowly place the stylus on the record is a little slow, but I guess it's better this than it dropping like a stone onto my precious collection. The sound is good but lacks a little depth. It would be good if you could adjust the tone, but there is no facility for doing this when playing vinyl. Sound is much better when using the Bluetooth facility, mainly due to the fact you can make use of the equaliser on your chosen device. Bluetooth connection to my telephone was easily achieved. The connection was strong and did not 'drop out', and there was no discernable interference. Given the price point, I feel this is a nice versatile player and well worth the money. Audiophiles are likely to be disappointed, but as with everything, though, you get what you pay for. In this case, I'm happy to say it exceeds my expectations.

If haven't done so already, this is the time to get all nostalgic listening to the old record players with songs onto which many memories have been created. The player is very stylish with its oak finish which fits very well with vintage as well as modern decors, giving its see through acrylic cover, this being the visible modern touch. Aside from the vintage aspect, the player is very modern in features, as it comes with Bluetooth connectivity, meaning not only does it play the old-fashion vinyl records but can also be connected to modern Bluetooth devices thus allowing for any music to be played on it. The sound quality produced by the speakers is decent, a big role being played by the hard case of these speakers which helps produce a fuller sound, however if you'd preferred something more powerful, the player comes with RCA connections to which you can connect a separate sound system. On top of that, it also has an auxiliary jack connection so listening to headphones is also a possibility. The acrylic cover is not flimsy at all and it has good quality hinges to support it and I love having it lowered and watch the turntable spin while playing the music. It's something I find very therapeutic. This is a very capable vinyl player, which looks and works great.

Firstly, this is a very beautiful record player that has a lovely and stylish design. The additional Bluetooth connectivity is simply brilliant. I haven't got many vinyl records anymore so have been using this with my mobile phone mainly and very impressed with its sound quality. The pair of speakers are pretty powerful, even though these are not that big in size. Setup was super easy and simple too and this set looks very elegant in my living room. In terms of its controls, these are also pretty straightforward and easy to operate. Connectivity is also seamless and I have not seen any drops or disconnection while playing music. In terms of its build, it looks quite well made and has a premium feel to it. I do believe it is priced a bit on the higher side though. All in all, very happy with the design and quality of this record players and it also makes a great gift. Thoroughly enjoying it and therefore have rated it as a 5 stars worthy product.

This record player is such a solid pick if you want something that looks good & works well. The farmhouse walnut finish is a nice touch—it fits right in with a cosy or vintage-style setup. The build quality feels solid, and the removable dust cover is handy for keeping everything clean when you’re not using it. The sound is impressive. The included Bluetooth speakers have good clarity & enough depth for casual listening. It’s not audiophile-level, but for the price, it does a great job. I’ve tried it with a mix of old & new vinyl, and the playback is smooth without any weird skips or distortion. The three-speed settings make it versatile, so you can play pretty much any record. It’s also great that it has RCA output & a headphone jack, so you can hook it up to a bigger system or listen privately. The Bluetooth connection is simple to set up, so you can use the speakers for other devices too, which is a nice bonus. Definitely a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy vinyl with a bit of modern convenience.
