Good Information / No Subscription Required
The RingConn Gen 2 does what it’s supposed to do. It provides basic medical stats, and does so without a monthly subscription fee like the more well known health ring. It is also very easy to link and set up. The app is very intuitive and easy to navigate. I selected RingConn primarily because it provides data on your sleep, including sleep apnea statistics, which the other rings don’t. The ring is comfortable to wear and is much lighter than I expected. You barely know it’s on. It’s also not as wide as its competitor. I recommend ordering the ring sizer kit first. The sizing is not the same as a traditional ring. Also, the silver version is very high gloss, like chrome. I originallky ordered the silver ring, but then did a return and got the black one instead. The black has a flat or satin finish. I like that much better, but it’s all about what appeals to you personally. I am very happy with the RingConn Gen 2, the info it provides, how quickly it charges, and that you get your data without having to pay a subscription fee or have your personal information uploaded to the web.

Thoroghly Impressed, fairly good price, great app with no subscription fees
This is my first health ring, and I purchased it primarily to monitor my sleep and gauge my heart rate. I recommend the Ringconn Gen 2, and after just four days of use, I am impressed! The app is responsive and provides detailed, user-friendly, and informative insights. I got their ring-sizing kit before ordering, and I'm sure my vitals are being monitored correctly – it’s comfortable to wear, trim, and works seamlessly throughout my daily routine. After logging three days and nights, the results make me feel better about my health. I like the Ringconn Gen 2 app’s at-a-glance icon that gives high-level sleep, relaxation, activity, and vitals scores. Then, I can drill down into the personalized details for a more in-depth look at how I’m doing. And I like the high level of statistics and explanations provided. It is a fantastic product that gives me a higher level of confidence and understanding about my health and goal setting.

Finish rubs off VERY quickly, fitness tracking WAY off - sleep tracking pretty good
So...here's the thing. What you'll think about this ring depends on what you bought it for. Sleep tracking? Decent. Close enough to get a good idea of what your sleep looks like. Fitness tracking? Not even close - typically 2-3k steps more recorded than on my apple watch - and I trust the watch more since it has GPS In addition, the whole idea of a 'smart ring' is to wear it all the time...well...after wearing it to the gym and doing dumbbell presses, the black finish is already scratching off...kind of a big issue considering what this wearable was made to do. The app itself is pretty straight forward and the ring, when sized correctly, fits fairly comfortably. I do notice that my index finger gets irritated every few days - but it also fits my middle finger so I just switch over for a day or two. Battery life seems to be pretty decent - I've been able to wear the ring for a week straight with no issue. Very important: do not order your normal ring size as Ringconn has their own sizing. You need to buy a sizing guide (it's like 2 dollars, no big deal) to check your size. As an example I am a 8.5 normally, in ringconn I'm a 12 (index finger).

Inaccurate tracking, requires internet, bad cust service
The ring is lighter than expected and feels nice on the finger. That is the extent of the good here. The sensor data is not very accurate, sometimes jumping from 120 hbp to 70 and back to 110. It works ok in a resting state but not under vigorous activity. It also moves around quite a bit affecting the readings. I got the smallest size my finger could wear so it is not a size issue. If you only want it for sleep monitoring, it may be a great option but it may shift and fail if you move in your sleep. I was also very disappointed because there is no real time data monitoring. The ring simply updates the app every few minutes. One last note, there is forced data collection. If you disconnect the app from the internet you lose basic functionality, like adding workouts and changing settings. Update: Seller reached out and offered to provide a refund if I simply responded with "Full refund". When I replied "Full refund" the seller responded with, let's troubleshoot. I removed one star for poor customer service.

Great Value, Great Data, No Subscription
Had it for a month now, and really like it. Very comfortable, really don't notice it on. The data is pretty interesting and it is pretty eye opening to see it sometimes. Went with this brand over some of the other wearables as there was no subscription. Also liked that I was able to use my HSA for it as medical equipment. Easy to set up the app, and have no problems with connectivity. I got some rubber covers just in case, but decided not to use them. I do lift weights and was worried about it hurting my fingers, but haven't had any problems with that so far.

Battery doesn’t last for the amount of money paid
Works but only if you plan on using it less than a year. Battery dies every other day now.

On the fence? Do it! Overall glad I spent the money.
Been using it daily for about 1 month now. Battery life is excellent and I have it taking my HR every 5 minutes. At first, I could tell that it wasn't accurately reading my HR when it would become elevated from exercise. Like I could see the increase, but I knew my HR was higher than it was purchase. I do use machines for cardio with HR sensors and get HR data from manual blood pressure monitors so I do feel that I am more aware of my HR during exercise. However, after a couple weeks it seems like the ring is doing a much better job at that measurement. The app is great and the data is easy to export if you want further analysis. It's comfortable and lightweight. The sleep score stuff really seems accurate and matches my own subjective assessment of my sleep quality. 5 stars overall, I am impressed and happy with my purschase.

Inaccurate data and poor application makes this a no go
Pros - Ring is comfortable, much more than Oura. Great battery life. Cons - The App There are a bunch of major flaws in the app and data collections, which skews results so they are no dependable. For ex: Working at my desk doing various duties on the computer, getting up occasionally for papers, snacks, etc gets registered as sleep. The app does no let you edit or delete the incorrect report. With the bad data, the "insights" and trends tell you that you have a problem, you are not sleeping well.... you may want to see a doctor. I didn't have this with Oura, and don't have it with my Apple Watch. When I (and many others) reported it to the company, they responded "Different devices measure differently..." and refuse to acknowledge the issue. Well.... if they are not registering SOME data correctly, how can you trust that they aren't misreading or report OTHER or ALL of the data. They didn't even offer to try and fix the issue or suggest a future update would take care of the errors in data classification. Further, when I contacted them and told them I was returning the ring to please remove my data as per their Privacy Policy, I was completely ignored. This may be all resolved in the future, but if you are truly concerned about monitoring you health, this ring is not reliable and should be avoided.
