I get motion sick just looking at other people in motion so I have to take dramamine for trips on Amtrak, a plane, or a bus. The problem is I get extremely sleepy with the adult dose. The non-drowsy adult formula is horrendous because it prevents the vomiting but not the nausea and that is simply torturous. The kid size dose is perfect. It works like the adult dose and I only get a little drowsy for about an hour, whereas the regular adult dose will knock me out for up to 2-3 hours. In addition, I can chew theses and it has a pleasant flavor - unlike the extremely bitter adult version.

I have two kids that get car sick going half an hour down the road and this was a life saver. We recently went on a 2000+ mile road trip over the course of several days and none of the kids felt sick at all, it worked great. They were both a fan of the initial taste but the taste didn’t stay in their mouths for long like some types of chewable tablets do.

Our 4 year old always gets sick on car rides longer than an hour, so these have been a lifesaver on roadtrips. They usually knock her out for a good car nap, so keep that in mind when giving to your kiddos.

My son always gets motion sickness on long drives or rides at amusement parks and Dramamine is our saving grace. We used these recently on our Disney trip and he handled the rides like a champ, though he did have a headache at the end of the day. So, I’d say that it is pretty effective in less severe motion situations. We usually don’t have incidents if he takes it on car rides. As for longevity, I typically try to make each capsule last about 3 hours (so between stops) before I give him another one. The taste isn’t sticky or as chalky as other brands of medicine. The box is small and easy to travel with. It’s easy to use and get out of the box (sometimes packaging is a nightmare with medicine, but this one isn’t bad.)

Great for the kids that get car sickness! Three of my six children get car sick if we have to travel first thing in the morning. I give them their proper dosage about half an hour before we leave, and it works like a charm! Occasionally it will cause sleepiness, but they don’t mind napping in the car.
