The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season - PlayStation 4

This is such a great game! If you're a zombie fan, Walking Dead fan, or enjoy the slow burn of a story intensive game this is right up your alley! My son introduced me to this game and I was instantly hooked. I'm not a big video game fan,but I have my favorites and this is now one of the top ones. I spent several days utterly sick on the sofa after Christmas with my son playing this game through to the end and it made the time fly by, which is hard to do when you feel like you are so sick that you very well might have caugh Ebola! lol But it is an enthralling game. The characters are fun, intriguing, and you really begin to care for them which is a great accomplishment. The story unfolds in real time, more or less, and the choices you are presented with are sometimes heart wrenching but fascinating! I really do love this game. And with all the choices and subsequent outcome differences you can easily replay this over and over and be told a new story each time. It's a phenomenal concept executed beautifully. It's really nice to see a story and character driven game made so well in the days when the most popular games are just massive shooting battles and a giant race through blood and gore.

Played it many times on the iPhone over the years, great game. finally bought this on the PlayStation store and there is a glitch in episode 4 that prevents you from making progress, so I bought this hard copy and the same thing happened. I suggest wait for an update or buy the Telltale Collection version of the game or The Definitive Series, I went with the collection and so far I’m on season 2 and no bugs.

This game is unbelievable! I bought this for my xbox 360 but it was sooo laggy and would freeze that it was unplayable.happy to say that the ps4 disc has no lags,skips ,or freezes.plays smooth. This is the first game ive ever played that when I was done and turned off my system,I wanted to go right back and keep playing.if youre looking for a fast paced zombie shoot em.up,look elsewhere.this game moves at a deliberately slow pace to actually make you think instead of just mindlessly shooting anything that moves.the comic book graphics are pretty great as is the voice acting.not many story lines in games are as deep and thought provoking as this one,as I genuinely started to care about the characters as I progressed,which sounds weird for a video game.this games worth the money and then some!as much as I loved the last of us,I think this game blows that away! Definite must buy!!

Fun point and click game. Be sure you know what your getting, this is an interactive story. It does not feature traditional gameplay. I enjoyed it, nice change of pace. Good trophy's too.

This game is amazing! Without any spoilers, you are Lee who have been jailed for killing (by accident) your wife's cheater or whatever you call him. As you are in the car, you hit a zombie/walker on the road and is thrown off the road, you see a little girl called Clementine in the distance and after a couple of minutes discover that her parents were gone to Savannah on a vacation and n accident between her father and a random stranger cause him to extend their trip and the apocalypse happens and now can't reach her parents. Now as Lee, it is up to you to take her of this little girl with some crazy adventures & plot twists!

I know it’s an amazing game and I was excited to play it. But unfortunately it won’t work. It downloads and lets me into the game. But Thèn it after a second it kicks me off and says it’s unable to use the disc due to being damaged or dirty. I’ve tried cleaning it and retrying. It looks like it’ll work but then it doesn’t. I was loading into the game and then it did it again. I’ll keep trying and see if it’ll work but it seems it doesn’t. (New thoughts)- it doesn’t work AT ALL. Even if I load in the game it’s super glitchy and kicks me out. I’ve tried EVERYTHING do NOT order this game. I was so excited for it just to be disappointed. Do.not.order. Unless u get lucky. I on the other hand am not one of the lucky ones.

I am new to playing the “Telltale Games.” I usually play the hardcore major stuff like Dying Light. I recently got my first Platinum trophy in “Watch Dogs,” just to name a few…however, I’m totally stunned by the amazing games series that “Telltale Games” has produced! The Walking Dead (season 1), is absolutely mind-blowing. This is a different kind of next gen game, that’s more like an interactive cinematic comic book. I am taken aback by the hypnotic captivating detail of an interactive comic-book anime style for a video game…shockingly good! The concept is absolutely brilliant and entertaining! I found this game more entertaining and fun to play more so than major games like the “Dying Light”. The story line in emotional, brutal, bloody, gruesome and gory…love it! But moreover, as a player, this game is interactive so you control the outcome of the game by the choices you make. The story will draw you in and keep you on edge with every decision you make keeping you in a constant state of anticipation. There is a Platinum in this game, but (no) Platinum in season 2 game. I can’t wait for season (3). If you like this game you will also like “The Wolf Among Us”, check it out. Thank you.

Good game I guess. Not really my speed but interesting characters and story. I like more free roaming games. This is pretty linear, but done in a manner of making critical decisions that affect the progress of your game. Now if programers can make a game more like this combined with The Last Of Us, it would be the greatest game ever!!

No todo en el mundo de los videojuegos es disparar y ser soldados de guerra. The Walking Dead es un TITULO ASOMBROSO EN MAYUSCULAS. Lo atractivo del juego es que realmente te adentras en ser un protagonistas en el ambiente de sobrevivencia, tratando de calmar, apoyando, argumentando o simplemente discutiendo con tu grupo de sobrevivientes en medio de la lucha por escapar de los walkers o zombies. La relación entre clementine y lee es lo mejor que se ha visto en un videojuego de este genero, los personajes son carismáticos y son "Vivos" con sus preocupaciones, sus pensamientos y sentimientos. El juego la mayor parte de el es resolver acertijos , seleccionar tus diálogos en base a la situación y sobrevivir. Tiene la acción de un titulo de survival, compuesta en capítulos como de una serie de tv se tratara. Las cosas criticables del titulo es que existen elecciones que realmente son "Ilusiones" , sin importar que elijas, el destino será el mismo, se aplaude a telltale por tratar de diferenciar tus elecciones, pero siendo realistas algunas de las elecciones importantes, no tendrá un cambio totalmente diferente, telltale lo haz intentado muy bien, pero hay que superar este obstáculo que decae en este genero. Otro detalle que critico, las animaciones son un tanto robóticas pero no es algo que se arruine la experiencia del titulo, por ultimo siendo mas importante, la duración del titulo puede llegar a las 9 horas, siendo corto en base a su duración, 5 capítulos mas 400 days se antoja muy poco, pero dentro de lo que cabe, el titulo es una experiencia muy sentimental, con muchos elementos que te hacen pensar que cada centavo invertido o haber elegido este titulo... lo compensa totalmente.

Este es el juego que instaló a TellTale Games en el pedestal que tuvieron por tantos años. Una excelente primer "temporada" en el universo de The Walking Dead (incluye el capítulo extra). Si eres fan de juegos más narrativos que de acción (donde las decisiones que tomas son el juego) entonces este juego es para ti. Si tu tirada es algo de acción con una duración de múltiples horas en un mundo que se vuelva cada vez más grande, este no es el juego que quieres comprar.
